“Everything especially late night“

“Nice food selection for a bar. Fast service, even with just 3-4 people working they were handling the crowd well. 2 nice adequate restrooms. Drinks strong, didn’t like the heavy salt on the Paloma-should have ordered it without. Rum Punch and Espresso drink good.

-okra portion size is too small. Too much salt on them. Great fresh cook just give more and use less salt.

-Brussels are too oily and buttery-you can see the butter heavy. Good portion just too much butter.

-Brisket Taco-Great value and I loved the BBQ taste. General flour tortilla shell but at least it’s toasted. Would’ve liked the option of fresh corn shell but I understand this is a bar. Was about to order more food, but I already ate. Prices are good all around: pool tables, games, nice chill vibe with some outdoor rooftop seating. Entertainment on some nights. For the overall experience, it’s pretty close to a five star if not already five star to you. If someone gives it a four star, it is the kind of four star that with improvements could easily be a five star, and this could be quite the regular hangout spot for some. Adequate parking on the street and in the rear.“

“Cool spot ! Dropped by after work for a quick drink and got to talking to the Jordan (bartender). Cool guy, never had to really wait for my next drink! Also seems like it’s a place that’s been around for a while, I could tell there were people they knew the staff very well. I’ll definitely be back !“

“The Hemingway Daiquiri and the Old Fashioned were superb cocktails. Atmosphere was upscale relaxation with leather club chairs and beautiful woodwork around the bar.“

They serve the best wings in Smyrna—hands down—but even when we’re not in the mood for wings, their menu has plenty of other delicious options to choose from. Our kids always find something they enjoy too, which makes Varner’s an easy pick for family outings. The service is consistently great, and on the rare occasion something isn’t right, they’re quick to make it right. We’ve brought several friends here over the years, and now it’s one of their favorite spots too!“

“The sports grill in my "pub". All the food is amazing, and they have daily specials for food and drinks. They've got pool tables and poker as well as trivia. The staff take the time to learn your name and what you like. There have been many times when I walk in, and my drink of choice, a tal beer in a cold glass, is waiting on me at my spot. Sometimes, when it's busy, you may wait a bit for service, but that's life. I've never seen a fight or even a "strong disagreement" there. It's a cool local bar. I go about once or twice a week. Check them out!“
