Disgusting place! I was so excited I got the ribs macaroni and sweet potatoes, my sweet potato was hard so it clearly wasn’t cooked all the way. The ribs were good but after I found a long black hair tangled in the macaroni I just threw the whole plate away. This is nasty! Will never eat here again!

I haven't got my food yet, my boyfriend is on the way home with it. Now, I called asking a question about the veggie plate because not all of the menu opts are on DDash. Then I call back later (about 15 mins) to place my order. Never mentioned the veggie plate (only that I had called about it earlier). My bf gets there to pick up my food and they are questioning him about a veggie plate. A veggie plate I didn't ask for, didn't order, never said I needed. He had to almost plead to get an order or mac n cheese (which she gave him "for free") and then told him "she (MEANING ME) knew how many sides came with the veggie plate". I'm gonna assume the food is trash. I'll give an update tho. THE NERVE of these black owned businesses. And y'all wonder why we go else where! He said she was rude. He had to wait outside and ring a bell. Like.........this place is laughable. I wanted to call and tell her my whole truth, but I found Yaweh. I will just say she isn't the brightest rock in the sand pit. Or the sharpest knife in the butcher shop. Or the 1st draft pick. Or swipe right on the intelligence app. I could go on, but my food just got here.
19 hrs later. Update: the driest mac n cheese I have ever encountered! Greens were tough and rough. Potato salad was decent. And the banana pudding was a muffin with........it wasn't banana pudding. At all. It was dry too. Best part was the baked beans that were simply baked beans. I added heavy cream and cheddar to try and revive the mac but ended up just throwing it out. All in all, is give it a 3 out of 10. From the service to the food.

I’m highly disappointed… the lady that was at the front was so sweet and her spirit was amazing…. But being born and raised in Texas and I know how to bbq but the only thing that was good was the sausage and that’s because it was still soft. The mac n cheese was over cooked. The greens came from a can and were not fresh. The ribs we are trying to figure out… All the sides minus the fries are in the trash. I hate to review a Texas place like this but there is no way I could allow Texas to be represented like this. Do not go here and expect Texas BBQ. It’s definitely not the same.

This probably the most unprofessional establishment I’ve been to. I ordered food from the twice and they got my order completely wrong. They are always out of food and not to mention when you go by their restaurant no one answers and if you call their number either someone hangs up or the phone is not working!It’s too many good bbq places out here to be dealing with unprofessionalism and unorganzation on this level!

I do not want to state 100% that this place gave my husband and myself the worst case of food poisoning ever, but we can’t think of anything else. We ate different leftovers for lunch and then for dinner we ordered from here. I ordered the brisket plate and he ordered the ribs. The BBQ sauce is really the only thing we both had. We did both order the banana pudding which was a muffin and not pudding at all but he didn’t eat his. 4 hours later we both woke up running to the bathroom and it was about 18 hours later before we held down broth and crackers. The meat was greasy and the sides were flavorless to boot.

The workers are extremely nice and I love their energy but the food was ABSOLUTELY disgusting … my ribs tasted like rubber, the macaroni had not a lick of cheese, and the greens weren’t completely bad but yeah no. Don’t recommend

This was not good and I'm so sad to say it. The macaroni had not one ounce of cheese. The brisket was hard, dry and old and my sweet potato was edible after I added my own butter and other condiments. I try so hard to patronize black owned businesses and now I'm out of $14 and still hungry
Had an awesome lunch and got to meet Mr. Beale himself, very nice man. THAT BRISKET THO! So tender and delicious good sauce and sides too. Go show Mr. Beales some love, local joint with lots of character.

The girl that took my order was super nice, however I was so disappointed in the the food. My smoked wings were UNDONE, I couldn't even pull them apart. My mac& cheese came from out a box, and the baked beans came straight out the can.This was the most un flavorful food i've ever had in my life. I tossed my food in the garbage 10 minutes after purchasing it. They have to do better :(

The food was awesome!! I ordered the BBQ rib plate with Mac and cheese and cabbage. The meat was tasty, tender and juicy, as well as the sides, which were seasoned to perfection. This was my first time trying this restaurant and I will definitely be going back.
