There are new owners! Give the restaurant a chance! Will the owner runs a tight ship and the servers are awesome!Food is excellent and the service is excellent! We always get the thin crust all meat. Every time we walk in they know our drinks and appetizers. That’s genuinely appreciated. Tisha and her daughter Kenzie are the best!!! They always treat us like family.
After a long day of vacation pictures and horse back riding we thought pizza and drinks would be good. 1st off no coke or sprite for the kids 2nd no draft ipa for the adults. They are under new ownership and have basically a limited menu. If you are visiting order pizza and water since they are out of most the menu. Hopefully they make it since it's in a touring area.
The people make the place! We loved the fun and friendly staff! Ordered three pizzas to be delivered to Big Canoe. They all looked amazing and were prepared with fresh ingredients, great cheese, and a thick crust/dough. .We were missing the sauce or this would have been a home run. A side of marinara next time for sure. I would love the option for a thin crust pizza too We hear this new team makes delicious Italian dishes! We will be back again soon to check it out! Thanks Forno!
We went in and placed our order for takeout they said it would be around 15 min so we went next door to do a little grocery shopping came back and no pizza somehow the printer didn't print the ticket so the guy in the back could make the pizza. The guy apologized and offered a free drink and said it would be ready in 15 min. After about 20 min the pizza was ready but then they forgot about the salad my wife ordered so we had to wait for that. The pizza was very good and not over cooked the crust was not hard it was a very good pizza ?.
Owner said hello, great food and a generally enjoyable place to eat.
I wouldnt call this an Italian restruant. I mean. They do have pizza. Its more of and American restaurant. Wings. burgers. Hotdogs. Pizza... The food is good. The owners are kind. Wish they had different pastas and other italian dishes.
Beautiful place, great atmossphere, super awesome employees. Love it will be returning often.
First of all, even doing take out is nerve wracking so part of this review may not be fair. I am from CT where you can't even sit at the bar so to see people sitting shoulder to shoulder at the bar, without even a chair open between them was shocking to us. Also, people were walking in and out of the restaurant without a mask, some of the wait staff wore their mask around their chin. None of that screamed "hey, I am a safe environment! Come visit me." There is a pandemic going on. Then we ordered our pizza and they messed it up so they had to re-make it. It happens, we weren't freaked out about it as we waited outside and enjoyed some really good music while we were waiting. The staff was amazing about it and felt so bad about the really long wait that they gave us the pizza for free. That was all nice and we took it to go. We have eaten great pizza, so-so pizza and really bad pizza and we have always been able to eat it. Sadly, this pizza was totally inedible. It was so salty that after just a litle bit of a piece, we had to throw it out. Had we actually paid for this pizza, we would have driven back and asked for our money back. All in all great music, awesome staff but really gross, inedible pizza.
Large group of us went here for dinner. Pizza was great. Everyone said their meal was good to great.
AVOID THIS PLACE (AT ALL COSTS)! We waited for well over an hour for our dinner, only to have the server tell us the kitchen "didn't print our ticket" and nothing was made. Draft beers were good (thankfully) and we did get mozz sticks & garlic knots at around the 30 min mark. But we have NEVER had this kind of experience at a restaurant. EVER. The "new owner" was even pretty unapologetic as we paid for our beverages & two appetizers and left. We needed up picking up frozen pizzas from the IGA next door.

First dinner of the trip after everyone got into the area. Server was very friendly and attentive. Had live music that was very good, but just a bit too loud for the small area. Had to speak very loudly to hear each other at the table. Food was okay. Wasn't really impressed with the pizza. Wings were cooked perfectly. Hot buffalo sauce had too much of a vinegar taste. Thai sauce was good. It was an okay meal.
They have recently changed their menu, direction of intention and probably owner. Instead of being a classical Italian restaurant with pastas and traditional meals they are now an eclectic eatery with a focus on being a sports bar. Our chili dog - Italian right? came out with thoroughly cold chili throughout. This wasn't because it sat in the window for 20 minutes. For it to be this cold it would have had to sat in the freezer. Then the waiter, bless his little cotton socks, asked us if they could just nuke it. No. We don't want a scalding hot, lazily prepared meal. But thanks for asking? I can't even remember the other dish because I was so distracted by the smoking mullet filled porch that I forgot. This place should separate its name into two words. FOR NO. As in for no reason should you go here.
New owners of 3 months ago. Pizza was lovely, salad very expensive. They are struggling with processes, poor waitress suffered the brunt of the complaints.
I went in at 4:15 and ordered a Great white pizza. I sat at the bar the whole time waiting on it. At 5:00 I asked the Gentleman to check on it. He walked to the back and disappeared. 10 minutes late I got up and went to the woman at the window and asked if one of the three pizzas sitting on top of the oven was mine. She looked and said yes and pulled the first pizza on the left. Mind you that pizza had been sitting there for well over 25 minutes. Also I observed 2 plates of food sitting in the window that had been there going on over 20 minutes. We have order from there many times Over the years with no issues. This however is totally unacceptable and no way to run a restaurant.
I had the BEST garlic knots I've ever eaten at Forno! They had the perfect amount of garlic, butter, and cheese. I enjoyed the knots with a DELICIOUS and very generous Greek salad with yummy Greek dressing! Forno's new chef and recipes are AMAZING!
