A very good restaurant for a smaller city like Augusta. With a little more attention to detail, it would easily be 5 stars. For instance, the bread was not fresh and lacked quality. The crab cakes were good but not good enough for a 5 star restaurant. Our main courses were very good and the main reason we will return. The service was very good and the best we have had in Augusta.
We love Cadwallder's. The service is excellent, very friendly staff! The food never disappoints and is always perfect! A true gem of a restaurant!
We dined at Cadwalladers for the 1st time to celebrate my birthday. I had the Iberaco Pork and my husband had the Bison ribeye. Both dishes were delicious and a very nice portion. We had chocolate cake for dessert which was excellent. Service was outstanding and all of the servers help each other so we were checked on by several of them throughout our meal. Prices are a little high but worth it. We will return for our next special occasion.
We have been going to Cadwalladers for over 30 years and it doesn't disappoint. This time we dined at the bar. The bar is a cozy atmosphere with only a small crowd. We started with cocktails which were very good and then got the scallops appetizer. It was fantastic. For entrees, I got the Asian pear glazed pork and my husband got the pork chop. Both were very good. I think his was better. We had wine with dinner. They have an extensive wine list for all tastes. For dessert we had the bread pudding which tasted good but didn't seem like a bread pudding. Overall we consider Cadwalladers to be excellent.
Our first visit to Cadwallader's. Everything was outstanding, from greeting us at the door, showing us to our table, drink offerings, and taking our order. We enjoyed every bit of our time there, and will visit again very soon.
I planned this for my mother figure's birthday. Her and her husband said this was the greatest they could recall in a very long long time!
Exceptional food and service! Love the bar- especially the extensive bourbon selections!!!
Excellent service. Welcomed by John and table ready. Wonderful service by Rafe. Great food and specials are always a tasty treat.
went w friend from HHI who is a fabulous cook herself & foodie like me. Service, meal, physical restaurant above & beyond any expectations. Started w spinach salad, moved on to the creamiest risotto w shrimp & scallops, burnt pork ends w Asian sauce, lamb chops cooked to perfection & tender as all get out. Dessert of cranberry “bread pudding” was actually such delicious apples topped with home made ice cream.
Our waitress was so attentive; the maitre d’ actually stopped by our table multiple times & circulated all the tables extending hospitality.
This place is a definite for impressing your guests. Kudos to all the staff for a wonderful experience.

My husband raved over the pork chop and said it was excellent. I can't say that for mine. My fish was cooked nicely but I never saw the scallops and lobster sauce that was supposed to be with this dish that put the price point where it was. There was some mushy things that I believe they were counting as scallops. The sauce didn't have any recognizable lobster. Our waiter was very nice. Our table was ok. The wine was good. I'd go back but not to order that dish again.
Wow! Great service, beautiful and classic scenery, and amazing food! Every bite was full of flavor. Worth every penny! Will definitely be back!!
Ambience and service were outstanding. Host and wait staff were friendly, professional and prompt, kudos to them. The coconut cake dessert was outstanding, kudos to the dessert chef. But, the shrimp and grits and duck duo entrees were so-so, mainly lacking seasoning and flavor profiles. The burnt end appetizer wasn't really burnt ends; they were more like pressure cooked pork chunks. I thought the prices were out-of-line with the value of the food.
Cadwalladers is a go to for good food!!!

Bison Ribeye was fantastic and the sorbet was to die for. If you come here have that it will not disappoint.
