A very good restaurant for a smaller city like Augusta. With a little more attention to detail, it would easily be 5 stars. For instance, the bread was not fresh and lacked quality. The crab cakes were good but not good enough for a 5 star restaurant. Our main courses were very good and the main reason we will return. The service was very good and the best we have had in Augusta.
We dined at Cadwalladers for the 1st time to celebrate my birthday. I had the Iberaco Pork and my husband had the Bison ribeye. Both dishes were delicious and a very nice portion. We had chocolate cake for dessert which was excellent. Service was outstanding and all of the servers help each other so we were checked on by several of them throughout our meal. Prices are a little high but worth it. We will return for our next special occasion.
We have been going to Cadwalladers for over 30 years and it doesn't disappoint. This time we dined at the bar. The bar is a cozy atmosphere with only a small crowd. We started with cocktails which were very good and then got the scallops appetizer. It was fantastic. For entrees, I got the Asian pear glazed pork and my husband got the pork chop. Both were very good. I think his was better. We had wine with dinner. They have an extensive wine list for all tastes. For dessert...
