The pork fried rice was delicious. The sweet and sour pork was terrible! The pork was fried extremely hard! I called the restaurant back and informed them and the person I talked too ask me to bring the food back. I am going to ask for a refund for the sweet and sour pork. Small plate I paid $9 and some change.

Love the food here! We like to dine-in and listen to the water fountain. Love the atmosphere. If the menu says spicey, it is.

We have eaten at a ton of Chinese restaurants in the Augusta/Grovetown area and this has been the best by far. Service was superb, atmosphere was chill and had an authentic esthetic. We came for lunch and ordered the Mongolian beef, Szechuan chicken, and house Singapore noodles. Everything was delicious!! 10/10 recommend!!

My first time in Augusta and I drove past this place seeing the name stood out in particular. Formosa is a name I haven't seen or heard for decades. After my daughter's volleyball tourny, we drove back here to have dinner ( one car in the parking lot was sus) We walked in and I immediately had a Anton Ego moment. The decor took me back to my 1980's childhood. The food even more so, another Anton Ego moment. The dishes were so old school authentic. The pan fried noodles with beef were perfectly sauced and not soggy with that flavor from a decades old chef with a family recipe. The chicken with actual fresh snowpeas was amazing and a lot. The prices were unbelievably low compared to other dine in equivalents. I sat sharing my experience when i was her age in the exact same environment here. I pointed out all the old details of the place. it was a great bonding moment. Oh, the dim sum shrimp dumplings didn't have fillers. Super friendly staff. If I wasn't 4 hours away, I would be here every weekend. I asked the waiter about the name and confirmed the place has been around for about 40 years, hence the origins of the restaurants name. If you want a relaxing, bit of history proper chinese food...check this place out. Sorry in advance for the half eaten pictures of food. Couldn't help ourselves.

I usually get almond chicken combos or chicken wings combos from Chinese restaurants. I love Chinese so I'm willing to try new places. This was a first for me. I got the almond chicken. It's not bad, it's just under seasoned. The almond gravy is a bit bland compared to other places. The rice is not bad just under seasoned as well. Not piping hot either. I did online order for pick up. I would've thought the food would be steaming hot freshly cooked. But overall I give a two star rating. I will return to try out the wings and lo me in?

I have to say, I was truly impressed with our dinner tonight. We shared the hot pot (a dish on the traditional Chinese menu) which was filled with delicious shrimp, beef, tofu, beef meatballs, and sausage, along with fresh veggies. Coming from Atlanta, I am so happy there is finally authentic Chinese food here. Also, our waiter Al was so delightful. We enjoyed getting to know him and sharing our love of food. Would come back for this dish in a heartbeat and try the other traditional Chinese dishes!
