The food was too spicy for my taste, even the one that only had one pepper next to the description. Everything there needs to be refurbished. The booth we sat in, if I had been a larger person and leaned back,it probably would have completely disconnected from the seat and I'd fallen backwards. I'm not exaggeratingFood: 3/5

This place is consistently good. I'm a personal fan of the Honey Pecan Fried Chicken. My wife loves the Seafood Au Gratin. The service is always very good and the drinks are as well. The prices for everything have remained reasonable despite the world turning upside down.

Of our three nights in Augusta, we enjoyed our first meal here so much we returned with friends. Our server John was as nice as our previous one, Doris. We all began with a delicious Shrimp Bisque. Two people ordered Peach Martinis that they loved. The hot French Bread with butter is a meal in itself. Hubby loved one dozen plump Oysters. Our friends both enjoyed their Stuffed Trout. I swooned over my Seafood Au Gratin which contained Shrimp, Scallops.and Crab meat in a creamy cheese sauce. All entrees come with rice and a salad. We all loved their creamy Avocado Dressing. This restaurant was such a lucky find.

Shrimp were fried to perfection but lacked spices or creole taste. The hand cut French fries and remoulade sauce were superb. Friendly staff and very clean.

Don't waste your money. You'd be way better off cooking yourself. Someone can't read an order in the kitchen. Shrimp Po boy was mostly bread. Fries are soggy and cold. Better off going to mc Donald's.

I had the shrimp poboy and as well other items from the menu, everything was so delicious, made from scratch fresh! This poboy was one of the best I’ve tasted I cannot lie about this, simply delicious! Jim I’ll be back tomorrow I assure you that!

I got the seafood crepes to go. I have been getting them for years, yesterday's order was terrible. The crepes were so small and so hard, some edible. No bread in bag. So dissatisfied. $14.43 what a waste. Not to mention the tip I even gave the bartender.

Everything was very good. The food & service. But if your looking for quiet atmosphere this is not the place. This is more social & everyone talks loud in conversations & very chatty.

My filet mignon was super tender and tasted really good with the sauce. However, my wife's seafood cakes had way too much sauces under them on the plate. My daughter's crab chop was very fishy tasting and just looked like a greasy pancake on her plate. I was underwhelmed with the plating,.. sloppy, not chefy. I only take pics of food I like...

This is the perfect place to bring out of town guests...most recent visit solidified that this is still a great way to go! The menu is varied, with there being no "bad" choices. I personally go for the seafood pasta dish, side salad with Pontchartrain dressing...and if your calorie daily count can stand it...I very highly recommend the peanut butter pie. You will find no better Anywhere!...Anywhere!

Doesn't look like much from the outside but nice ambience on the inside. Was a bit of a wait to get seated but the bartender was great! Had 2 drinks while we waited. You DEFINITELY want to get the gumbo to start! It was delicious and was happy it came without pork. The fresh bread is very good so hard to not put on the extra carbs! Crawfish étouffe honestly wasn't it! Never seen an étouffée look like it had gravy on it BUT when I told my waitress she was very nice about swapping me out for the seafood pasta which was AMAZING! Try the gumbo and seafood pasta and you will not be disappointed!

Seated immediately. Great red beans and rice. Good oyster and shrimp poboys & fries. Only negative is that they were out of the beer and Cider that we ordered. Excellent service by wait staff.

I normally read reviews prior to going to a new restaurant but this was a work event and I was running late. Lesson Learned.The Fried Green Tomatoes were great and the fried crawfish were tiny but good. I would have given it 4 stars if only I hadn't ordered the crawfish etouffee. Originally, I was going to get a Oyster Po Boy but I saw etouffee on the menu and I love etouffee. When it arrived I was SHOCKED at the color, it was almost black and you could tell the roux had split, the oil was like a puddle on top. Sorry, not sorry, knowing how to make a proper roux is fundamental to Cajun cooking. Not only did it look terrible but the taste was awful. 100% BURNT and GREASY. Normally, I don't write bad reviews, but it seems that their etouffee is consistently bad after reading other reviews. So the owner needs to take the hint and change the recipe or retrain the cook. It was inedible.

Owner calls employees of the LGBTQ+ community the F slur, calls hispanic kitchen employees wet backs. There is no A/C for employees in the kitchen which is highly illegal. gross kitchen and environment. Horrible owner and rude family buisness.
