FIRST the waitress needs to keep her job at the dollar store. Had shrimp and grits. The grits need to cook another hour. The breaded fish had too much breading. Very little fish and a lot of bread. Tea was good . Water was wet. The fry serving was small. The 20% tip was uncalled for. Just not happy,,,

We grove up from Ellijay, GA to Mccaysville specific to ear here on the river. This restaurant did not disappoint! Loved it.

Overall, the food quality was excellent. We ordered the sirloin with two sides. Everybody got a different side, but the brussels sprouts were excellent.
The salad with the house dressing was also excellent.
We sat next to the river outside right at 6 PM where all the lights turned on and it was an amazing experience.

The riverside location provided a wonderful atmosphere, and our server was excellent. However, we found the food to be somewhat disappointing. My husband's fish and chips with mac and cheese presented a mixed experience; while the fish itself was good, serving it on greens unfortunately made the breading soggy, and the macaroni and cheese lacked flavor. My sirloin, accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, was well-seasoned. Regrettably, both the mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts were rather bland, despite their appealing texture.

Been here three times and the food, service and river view / sports TVs make for excellent venue if in the Blue Ridge, Macaysville, Copperhill, Ocoee river area.

The perfect place to relax by the river. The fish sandwich is top notch, and Ashley is an amazing server.

Rode the train and ran into this cute restaurant on the river. Ordered the cowboy burger, which was perfectly cooked medium. A little cool but I figured it was a sous vide burger, since it was so perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken and he loved it. Draft beer was delicious. Our waitress even let us have the ticket early so we could leave and explore the rest of the city within our 2-hour time.

Had the Nashville hot chicken, very good. Nice restaurant and excellent service. If you are coming in from the scenic train ride, great place to grab a bite.

Food was great. A lot of people stopped
at some of the restaurants in town so this spot wasn't as busy. My husband ordered the hamburger and it was cooked perfectly for him. The waitress was very friendly, attentive and helpful.

This would have been a 5 star review overall due to the excellent service & good food, but the meal & ambiance was ruined by having to listen to the manager (sitting in a booth nearby) loudly on the phone - on speakerphone - so everyone had to hear the entire work related conversation over their own dinner conversation. Besides being rude & thoughtless to do that in a restaurant to begin with, how unprofessional for it to be an employee of the establishment.

My daughter and I decided on the Southside, which was served with sweet potato fries and blondie sauce, and were pleased with the overall flavor profile.

The friendly service provided by Sheila and Chelsey greatly enhances the dining atmosphere, making for a highly enjoyable experience. We plan to return in the future.

Angie made me the mocktail of life! It’s called the Strawberry Smash. So refreshing. The entire staff is amazing. The food is delicious. I had the ultimate fish sandwich and sweet potato fries. The fish is well cooked and tasty. My server Mark was so knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend Burra Burra if you’re in McCaysville, GA or Copperhill, TN!!
