Happy Bear Ice Cream & Treats

No menu in the store, no big display listing what's all available & the prices. First time in, I had to ask if they made hot fudge sundaes. The young girl said yes. So then I asked her how much they cost, and she had to look it up because she didn't know. She said $8.00. Holy poo! Didn't say if there was more than one size or anything. Very bad first impression for me. There should be a big board showing all items, with sizes, and prices, instead of people having to ask. And $8.00 for a hot fudge sundae?!? Not in this lifetime! Not impressed, not recommending, and not going back.

Whoa, I got the caramel praline and banana pudding scoops in a waffle cone chip bowl and it was fantastic. The service was charismatic and prompt. We loved going there and now have a favorite ice cream shoppe !!!!

Brittney was totally awesome when helping me get the ice cream I wanted when she thought they were out. Very pleasant and helpful. You definitely want Brittney to help you when you go here for ice cream.

I went to happy bear today and the service was great! Everyone there was extremely nice and efficient. I was happy what i got from there with the help of one of the workers, Lily. She helped me figure out what would match my tastes. 10/10 Would Recommend!

When I came to blue ridge, about a week ago, I was expecting bare minimum. Layla, this girl I had met who served me ice cream took the time to really get to know me in such a short 5 minutes. You can tell as a young woman, she takes pride even if it’s at an ice cream shop. The extra effort she put, it was astonishing, she could tell I was indecisive about my decision and helped me along the way. Kept casual conversation like where I’m from, how do I like the blue ridge experience. She really made me feel like a human being, and not like a statistic having to be made. I know wherever Layla will be she will be a huge boost for business with her characteristics, truly such a honor.

The staff member who served us seemed frustrated from start to finish which probably wasn’t helped by the fact that many machines in the store seemed to be broken or not currently working. Which does happen and would be understandable if the staff member hadn’t seemed to get frustrated with us. They did appear to be the only one serving ice cream which could have been stressful, but in the end it still was a pretty uncomfortable experience.
