We found this place by chance all we knew was what the revies said and when we pulled up it doesn't look like much from outside I was like are u sure, we decidedto give it a shot and walked inside and it's kinda dark and has a strip club feel. "from what I heard " But the food is amazing the steaks are perfectly cooked the service took a min but they were great aswell ,A true diamond in the rough

Chesterfield's is a new favorite of ours in Metter. We've been to Metter many times, but we had no idea this place was here (thanks, Google Maps!).My wife had their delicious baked salmon while my grandson and I enjoyed the perfectly seasoned ribeye steak. We'll be back to Chesterfield's often to make up for lost time.

We were traveling and staying at a local motel. We ordered to-go plates from here. The food was good for the price. We had a steak and some fried shrimp with fries. If you are in Metter, I do recommend this place.

After passing this restaurant the past few years, I decided to give it a try tonight. I ordered the ribeye steak, medium rare. The steak was sent back as in my opinion was too tuff. The waitress was very receptive of my complaint and asked if she could make it right by allowing me to get another steak cooked or to have a substitute. I chose a different main course but by this time the wife had finished her meal so I took the remainder of my meal home. Since steaks vary from cow to cow I will not completely write this place off and will give them another try, The staff was very friendly and the restaurant itself was quite cozy. It's unfortunate that the evening ended on a sour note, after reading so many positive reviews on this place.
