Sat down and was waited on fairly quickly placing my order at 11:40 a.m. to never see my server again! At 12:15 p.m. asked another server where my order was. The server stated burgers take longer. Really, it takes over 40 minutes????? Meanwhile, I watched several tables come and go who also ordered burgers. The server was rude telling me to be patient, only I ordered at 11:40 a.m. and other people got their food in 5-15 minutes after coming in after my husband and I. Finally, at 12:25 p.m. we got our burgers without cheese or pickles which we ordered and it was clearly written on our ticket. Server was rude again when we complained. ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! Never going back.
P.S. the server who took our order never ever came back to our table and we never got refills for our drinks while everyone else in the restaurant had their food and drinks in a timely manner. Do better!

It was ok. My bbq pork sandwich and Brunswick stew was good. My wife's fried chicken was overcooked and they brought out white meat chicken when she ordered dark meat. She didnt send it back though. We were traveling from Savannah to Atlanta on a Sunday, so we're expecting much. Overall I would say good, not great.

The best restaurant in Matter ㅡ Cheeseburger ㅡ House salad ㅡ When ordering BBQ burrisket. You can enjoy the best taste if you order it sliced without sauce.
Let me count the ways of why I will not return. 1. I was told to have a seat and someone would be with us. 10 minutes later after 3 other tables sat and were greeted I still sat there with no one coming to my table. I had to go up to the register to get service. 2. While the food arrive quickly it was all cold to Luke warm. The only thing that was hot was the fried squash, but it was still covered in grease. 3. The pork, yes was cold to Luke warm, like it had been heated in a microwave. Wasn’t anything spectacular for a bbq place. Speaking of bbq, there’s only 1 sauce to choose from and it’s very much a vinegar based sauce. 4. Service- leaves much to be desired, after being ignored after seating wasn’t enough, once we got our food we were checked on once from there. Drinks went empty until we finally got up paid our bill and left.
Probably won’t be returning. I can get mediocre bbq from pretty much anywhere and better service at Shane’s. I’ll just drive there next time
