Rude manager kicked us out after our car broke down, the place was empty, we bought food, and he gave us attitude as he was telling us we couldn't stay. The food was garbage too.

Car broke down on the interstate, dropped off here. We ordered food and ate, took up one table. Restaurant emptied out, we were the only table left. Manager came over and said we would have to leave if it got busy, we understood that clearly and said “that’s fine.” At this point he became clearly angry, rolling his eyes and threatening to kick us out. Very disappointed.

Roach Factory

Kicked out when store was empty.
We paid our food and left a good tip and were just waiting for our uber to pick us up. Miserable manager kicks us out even when place was empty and was rude about it too. Rolled his eyes when he walked away.

My new fave Waffle House! We were on our Sunday morning return to home during the wee hours when the rest of the world was wrapping up Saturday night.

QUICK RESPONSE -When we walked in all the tables were dirty, and the waiter greeted us explaining they had been swamped but quickly grabbed a rag and thoroughly wiped down a booth for us.

GF-GLUTEN FREE -I ordered deluxe chicken sandwich with cheese. Hold the bun because I am Gluten Free. I’ve ordered this numerous times the last two years (tho normally with hash browns) at a wide variety of Waffle Houses and this time was absolute perfection…
Cook Johnathon magnificently crisped the bacon, sautéd the onions, and seared the chicken, all without special request by me.

It was served with generous portions of lettuce and tomato … much appreciated with the bunless sandwich. Not sure if cook or server was responsible for that but I know that waiter Daniel topped it off with steak knife which made bunless eating so much smoother than my previous experiences.

CLEAN- He also had every table cleared and wiped down before the next customer stepped in.

LGBTQ - Added pluses that made me smile were frequent coffee refills, observant reminder that we had left unused fiber packets when we got up, and the bathrooms are non-gendered making it comfortable also for the LGBTQ+ community.

YES- Now I can see why they were swamped before we walked in. I’m looking forward to more trips past/through Metter. Winning team! Thanks, guys!!

Visited the morning of Black Friday and it was expectedly busy. The whole crew was making it work with what appeared to be a diminished staff, but a special mention is deserved by our server, Alison. She was effectively the glue holding everything together and keeping the whole operation in check. If her boss sees this, she deserves a raise and some PTO.

Watched them argue over where my the waffles where even at. Next while my other food was sitting and received luke warm which wife was not happy about i received part my order I asked where my breakfast bowl which was sitting in front of her she questioned me on if I had ordered one when she took the order herself then proceeded to review the receipt and go (oh). First fell ignored then treated like a liar to the person who took my order horrible just horrible I will be contacting main headquarters
