DO NOT stop here if you are looking for a quick road trip pit stop!!!!! Took us 45 minutes to get our food after ordering then the chicken finger was so hot that I severely burned my lip when taking my first bite. Stop somewhere else !!!!
RUDE EMPLOYEES. The teenagers and young adults they have working there are extremely unprofessional. I’m a teacher and have raised my own kids. I’m usually patient but the situation I encountered from the rude staff today was unacceptable and I won’t be back. I travel to Atlanta frequently from Savannah and so I stop in Metter and have for the past 15 years. It’s never been this bad.
I WOULD AVOID THIS ONE AND GO ON UP TO DUBLIN OR WAIT UNTIL YOU GET TO THE NEXT EXIT SOUTH. It’s just not worth it to deal with the rude people at this location. I have spoken to management about this, but I really didn’t feel like anything was going to change after speaking with them either. DO BETTER.
Server was incredibly rude. We asked (nicely) for a fork because we didn’t get one in our bag and she said “yeah I heard you the first time” and ignored us. Horrible service
NASTYYY! the people are soo lazy they gave us spoiled milkshakes, food was cold, very very rude never in my life will I EVER be coming back.

The food, chicken fingers, were a little overcooked. Service was mediocre.
Took only a couple seconds after walking in to know we wouldn't be eating here. The smell hit me before my eyes adjusted to being inside. Some mixture of old spilled soda, bathroom cleaner and god knows what else. The trash wasn't overflowing, yet there was trash all over the floor. Ice mountain in the ice machine, just very dumpy and the smell was atrocious. Haven't eaten all day and have pretty low standards but am happy to wait an hour for the next town.

DO NOT GO TO THIS ZAXBYS IN METTER Worst experience. Took 48 minutes to get our order in the restaurant. They continued to give orders in drive thru and we waited and waited. Rude staff just standing around looking confused with no answers. I have never had such an awful experience at a zaxbys. Will never go to this one again. I hope the owner sees this and makes some changes before the business plummets. It’s awful. And the store also smelled like sewage.

This place needs some leadership across the board. Cashier doesn’t know how to work the machine. Waited 20 minutes just for an order of fries. A bunch of young people that don’t know how to work together. This place has been bad like this for a while. If you are looking for something quick to eat, don’t stop here!

Went through drive through. Got a meal with chicken tenders, fries and toast. They left out the sporks so was unable to eat the Cole Slaw. Really dissapointed because of that!

Ordered 3 meals and it took 25 minutes to receive it. There was no apologies made by anyone and the zalad barely had any chicken on it. Stinks to pay more money for worse service.

Food was fresh, hot, and good. However, the staff were rude and store was dirty. When I got cup with ice the sweet tea was unsweet on counter. I asked for sweet tea from back (since no drinks in lobby) you would have thought I was asking for something “big” as the one young woman as her eyes rolled and her attitude went crazy. At same time another gentleman asked and she did the same behavior. All the front counter employees with exception of one young lady with pony tail wearing headset for drive through were too worried about their phones and laughing to be bothered by any customers. No ice in machine, no beverages in lobby working, no napkins. And yet they stood around complaining 98% of time. There c must be no management on duty at night because this is far from Zaxby’s policy I have ever witnessed.
May want to retrain and add some supervision to night staff in my opinion.
