The Lord himself must have taken part in the preparation of my food. When I tell you the greens touched my soul, I am not even kidding. Angie's food took me back to memories of a bygone time. I have not tasted greens like they served since my Great Grandma was alive. The fried chicken took me back to my childhood , cooking with my MiMi. In my 40 years, I have never had a meal so good that it actually hit core memories. The food here is phenomenal. It's true southern soul food. While it may not be the fanciest place in town, the attentativness of the wait staff and the quality of food could rival any 5 star restaurants. From the moment we walked in the door, we felt at home. The tea is sweet, the food is downright scrumptious, and the price is definitely right!
The first waitress took our order. Then 20 min later a nasty waitress came over n asked if someone took our order I sad yes 20 mins ago. She replied oh we got tickets ahead of you. I order 2 pancakes and 2 bacon that's it. So the nasty waitress then went to ask the nice waitress if what I said was true. The nice waitress said yes. The cook was cleaning tables sweeping floors n not cooking anything except for the buffet. People came in after us n ate before us. So we left without even getting our food. 45 min later almost. And it smelled

They have really good shrimp. Everything there is going to give you diabetes. Probably a couple strokes. It's delicious. Would give more stars if the place was a bit cleaner inside and out.

Really loved the food, the atmosphere, and the service. Stopped for breakfast on the way to Savannah wanting some good home cooking. Everything was fresh and tasty. This place is a few miles off I95 but definitely worth the drive. Prices were very affordable. You must try Angie's if you want to avoid fast food.
