This for Richmond Hill location,, to go order no bbq sauce, burnt bread, small portion for what I ordered. Sum it up Pitiful!

"I recently dined at The Smoking Pig and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and embodied true Southern Hospitality. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home, treating us like family. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. My pulled pork was absolutely incredible. The quality of the meat was top-notch – it was clearly all grade A, and the flavor was outstanding. It was evident that someone had taken the time to carefully pull it by hand, resulting in incredibly tender and flavorful meat. The sauces they provided were excellent complements, each adding a unique dimension to the already delicious pork. My partner's ribs were equally impressive. They were fall-off-the-bone tender and incredibly flavorful. This may look like a "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant from the outside, but it is an absolute party for your taste buds. The Smoking Pig is a must-visit for any barbecue lover seeking an authentic and delicious Southern dining experience."

Stopped in on a trip to Florida because I just didn’t want fast food. I was prepared for lunch taking longer than a drive through, but service was super fast and the food was so delicious! I’m definitely marking this on the map to make sure I stop in whenever I’m in the area. I only wish there was one where I lived.

Great barbeque right off I-95! Usually you can only find fast food. This place is a find! Good food with southern hospitality, can’t ask for more.

Nice, pleasant hostess. Restaurant was empty, but only one table had been cleaned enough to sit at. We both had brisket. Sides we shared were baked beans, potato salad, and turnip greens. Brisket had good flavor but was tough, probably because not sliced across the grain, like it should have been.
Baked beans tasted like straight out of a can. Blah. Turnip greens were lukewarm, unseasoned, and terribly bitter. Potato salad was ok, but not good enough to save the meal. Lunch with 2 iced teas was $31. Would not recommend. There's much better BBQ around, I hope.

Never a fan of a BBQ place where you order at the counter and then sit down. thats not a good BBQ restaurant in my opinion. Food wasnt bad. Ribs were great beans were great and decent Brunswick stew. Slaw was off though. And brisket wasn't as juicy as I like. Banana pudding was brilliant. Great service. Staff was awesome. I will visit again and try some other things.

Okay.....so I guess you're wondering why would I give the Smoking Pig 4 stars if i gave them 5 stars in all 3 catagories? Well very simple it's a long drive from Traphill NC to order but drive I will! Being from the South I've tried every Mom and Pop BBQ joint that looked and smelled half decent. Somehow or other if they were excellent in tenderness and texture they were failing in taste or vice versa. A truly great BBQ should be sampled with no BBQ sauce at all. A truly award winning BBQ should arouse your taste buds and awake your senses. You should growl at anyone who walks near your plate. I'm not going to say anything more....I don't need to. If you desire a beautifully savory delicious juicey boldly provocative plate of unsalted spare ribs pony up and I'll see you heading down or up on US95 in Midway Ga. LORD HELP US
