I am so saddened and regretful for tonight’s experience. Very costly for no good reason other than they are a family owned business. But if that’s the case the portions on certain item should be a lot more than what they are. E.g. the crab soup. It was $8 & salty. Also where we sat was very cold but the staff didn’t care after we let them know or seem like the really cared:(. If it’s a small family business it ought to be more concerned & personable than displayed. Also my main entree was salty & they did not seem concerned & would not replace. I left the dish & bc of that it was my first time as an adult that I haven’t left a tip! Around 3 years ago I began to tip all waitresses a minimum of $10, but given the circumstances I was forced to make this decision. The waitress wasn’t concerned or empathetic @ all. I’ve been here in the past & loved it but tonight, I’m just SMH. I gave 3 stars bc kids & wife’s food was great. All together we paid $130. Was worth about $60 in all reality. Unfortunately I very likely will not return, mainly bc the inability to replace an item even if the chef accidentally got heavy handed on the salt. I’m honestly sad the whole situation happened, this is the first bad review I’ve ever left….

I went here for my birthday (party of 6). This was the best thing on the Menu for me.. Nachos was very fresh..Shrimps excellent and the onions and green pepper brought it together! I loved it! Had a great view of the water. Can't wait to go back!

The food was ok. Service was good. Seemed silly to require reservations for a costal dive, wasn’t crowded on a Sunday after church and no one waiting. Crazy thing is they charged me for water!! Been doing this a while and never expected a $2 charge for water when having a $100 lunch bill!!

The food is fair but the value is poor. Portions were below average. Not having more than a single crab dish on the menu is ridiculous. Crab is literally in their name. Would it kill you to make a crab salad sandwich, hot crab dip, or crab chowder?
Wow. Where to begin. Atmosphere was dingy. We called for reservations because the site suggested it. Not required. Dress is casual which is fine. The ceiling fans were sagging from years of neglect. Service could improve. Waited for refills and about 45 minutes to be served. The tuna appetizer was good and hoped the food would be better than the single terrible live one man guitar fellow there. It wasn't. I'm a garbage disposal and my wife and former chef. I took one bite of the pork chop and it was good. Tender yes, but I'm not sure if that's because it was old or the awful stuff they put on it. My wife got grilled redfish with greens. Fish was barely warm. Probably overdone from what I can tell but it was better than that pork chop. Greens seemed to be lacking something. My garlic mashed potatoes was the only thing I could eat. We left without eating, that isn't like us. Good luck to them in the future.

I am very unimpressed with Sunbury Crab Company. Not once, but twice, my table has been rushed out simply because the reservations behind us had arrived. I have never heard of such a thing at a restaurant, and while I let it slide the first time, it’s unacceptable for it to happen again.
This time, we received our food only about 20 minutes before being told we needed to finish up, leaving us to rush and scarf down our meals instead of enjoying them. For a place that should be about good food and a relaxing experience, this left a very sour taste.
I don’t plan on returning, and I hope the restaurant rethinks the way they handle their reservations and customers.
