I absolutely love their oxtail on Sunday and the service is good they ask questions to make sure you have what you want. I love their red velvet cake as well.

I ordered turkey wings, double greens, double dressing , patoto salad, cornbread pancake, the food was like your grandma made it i really enjoyed it good southern food , but yall need to tone down the salt it was too much for my palate and seniors who have high blood pressure, please but i will be back. will be back 😋

Took a group of 20 senior citizens and food was very good. All the staff were very nice and helpful. Good attitudes and good teamwork. Clean place to eat. Took home a whole homemade sweet potato pie! All the cake slices tasted homemade and fresh and big pieces. Would definitely go there again when in Milledgeville

Staying in Milledgeville for the weekend to attend grandson's graduation. We were looking for a restaurant with country cooking. Mrs Stella's fit the bill beautifully. I had 2 pc fried fish filet, potato salad & black eyed peas & my husband had cubed steak in gravy, butter peas & squash casserole. Filets were cooked fresh! All the food was exceptional! Staff was friendly, courteous & helpful! Highly recommend 😊

You order your food cafeteria style. If you are getting cooked or baked items, they are served up. If you are ordering anything fried, it is cooked to order and then served up with the side items, brought to your table. You pay at the end of the line. You can also serve your own drink. I ordered the 3 piece fried chicken thighs, Sweet potato souffle and Mac and cheese with iced tea and tax, it was around $13. The fried chicken was too much for me and I gave a piece to my friend. It was hot and moist but I think it could have used more seasoning ; although it's sometimes hard to know how much to season when cooking for lots of different people The sweet potato souffle was simply outstanding and the mac and cheese reminded me of old school, homemade mac and cheese which I loved. The sweet tea was as you would hope, it was cold and sweet! My friend ordered the catfish, French fries and coleslaw with a soft drink. I think her dinner was around $15. She did not enjoy her as much as I liked mine but agreed she will come back and try other menu items.She thought my chicken was very good.
The men and women who work here are very nice and helpful. The venue has serviceable chairs and tables, You may refill your own drinks, and if you have any room left, there are homemade desserts. The Dining Room was very clean and spacious. As this restaurant is located in a shopping center, there was plenty of parking. Additionally they seem to do a very brisk take out service.
If we returned to Milledgeville, I would certainly want to come back and try other food.Thank you Ms. Stella.

The kind of place that no knife is needed; their delicious meat falls right off the bone! I loved how generous they were with the gravy. I wish this could be a 5 star review, but they forgot to add the dressing to my bag in my turkey and dressing meal. It is my favorite part, so that’s the only reason I am giving 4 stars. I will definitely be going back, but will also make sure to check my bag before I checkout.
