After chicken s baked the broth needs to be strained of impurities. Doesn’t look gud n the gravy. Baked chicken was unseasoned, no flavor at all

The sitting area is small. The food does come out hot. The place stays busy. Me and some of my friends ordered different items off of the menu. The food to us wasn’t seasoned that well. One thing they don’t tell you nor is a sign posted about if you use your debit card they charge you. I asked the amount of the charge and I was told it depends on your total. When you get your receipt there is not a break down of your bill. If you pay cash they give you a break down of your bill. The debit card transaction is what got us. On the board it had one price but they charged my friend a different price. They did correct the issue. I hope my review helps.

A welcoming environment with knowledgeable and friendly staff and most importantly the soul food is really delicious and affordable.
Hole in the wall sort of place, the kind you expect I have excellent food to keep it in business. There’s no menu posted — it’s on a whiteboard behind the counter and seems to change day to day, if not hour to hour. My wife found one thing on the menu that caught her attention, only to discover they had run out earlier in the day. (We got there at 3 PM on a Friday). The grilled pork chop was large and well-seasoned, but it was a little dry, as was the cornbread pancake, served without butter or gravy. The Mac & Cheese was pretty good, but it didn’t feel like $15 worth of food. We went out for dinner at 5 downtown.
I was really hoping for more, and hope I just caught them on a bad day.
Parking: There’s only about five parking spaces in front of the restaurant, but there is a public park across the street with tons of parking.

So while on one of my little small town excursions, my sister/friend and I stumbled across this place in Millidgeville, GA. The food was pretty good, the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The catfish was crispy, well seasoned, and delicious, so were the fried chicken wings. The slaw was also, good and creamy. Now the caramel cake was less than mediocre, but I did enjoy my dinner. Will be stopping again when Im down that way.
