As good as some of the food is here, today they charged me 1.00 for 4 pickle slices. Very small slices. Who charges for pickles?!! I guess I was fortunate to get ketchup & salt free. Was a favorite place; no longer! Server also should’ve mentioned if there was to be a charge. So disappointing.

I came into Milledgeville on Sunday for a business trip. When I asked around for a good place to eat, the consensus was unanimous from the hotel to the gas station. Everyone sent me to the pickle barrel, and I must say it did not disappoint. It was a real chill atmosphere. I got in around 7p. There weren't too many people there. I was seated right away. We sat outside. The waitress was super nice and very informative and accommodating. I feel bad I forgot her name but she was a nice little black woman. My dining partner had a Paloma, that was made perfectly by the bar tender. I had the lemonade which was good. Our appetizers were fried pickle and firecracker shrimp. They were both delicious. For dinner we had the Wicked Burger and Seafood basket. All the food was delicious. The service was great. The atmosphere was stimulating. I will definitely return.

It was like a friendly neighborhood bar/restaurant. Locals come in and are greeted by name and certainly with a smile. At least seven TVs showing a variety of sports games. I ordered some drinks and had the hugest salad I've ever had. I had enough leftovers for 2 days. Great!

We had to leave because our stomachs were starting to turn. The only thing we came there for was to try their fried pickles and they were out. How do you run out of pickles at Pickle Barrel??
