My husband and I walked in about 40 minutes before they closed (which we try not to do) but the server and owner were all so nice. We had dumplings, sushi, and hibachi. I really wish I would’ve caught our servers name because she was so sweet and super attentive. The owner even checked in on us and told us some history of the business/future remodel plans. I’m particular about my sushi and my go to was not on the menu, but he gladly customized the order to match and it was fantastic! We will be back for sure!

I’ve been to eat at Shima so many times and it’s never disappointed. Even when the restaurant gets busy the service is still as good as can be. I never have to ask for a refill and I’m always checked up on. God bless these 20 year olds for doing the lords work at a sushi

Food was good at a great price. Took us 25 minutes to get our drinks after ordering. She then took another 20 min to get the bill the bill after we asked. It was not even very busy. Our waitress was not attentive at all. Just sticks because I normally really like this place for lunch. Will try again and update if the service improves.

I come here weekly with my girlfriends for the happy hour special. Great attitudes and environment. The music playlist are always bumpin, and the rolls are rockin. The California roll and crunchy roll always satisfy and never fail. Love this place.

Our server was very attentive, and the owner came by and checked on us, which I appreciated.Parking: Downtown parking can be tough during the lunch rush.Dietary restrictions: They met my dietary restrictions without an issue and switched my steamed dumplings from pork to chicken.
