Shrimp Boat of Milledgeville

I am so glad we finally got to try this place! We have been hearing about it since we moved down a few months ago, and it lived up to the hype! My ONLY gripe is that we called in our food about 40 minutes early and it still wasn't ready when we got there. We had to wait for another 25-30 min on our food. BUT, that being said it was great food! That little hiccup won't stop us from returning!!

Love the fried chicken and my husband loves the shrimp. I know it's not for everyone, but, if you're adventurous, try the gizzards. I think they're so good. The sweet tea and Cole slaw are delicious. The prices are very reasonable. This is our favorite restaurant in Milledgeville.

If you are truly a southerner this is your place, Yankees beware. Fried this and fried that. Its great.

Food was very good and hot. I just made the rush before the dining room filled up. The dining room was clean and there was some space for larger groups. I stumbled on this place but I will definitely plan to be back.

I went to Shrimp Boat two days in a row this week, both times the food was cold. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate both days, the shrimp was cold and hard. The fish wasn't even hot, fries was cold also. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this establishment at all!!

The food is AWESOME!! Don’t Even Attempt to make a call in order, you will NOT GET AN ANSWER. Be prepared to wait in the drive thru for ATLEAST an hour!!!!
