The Velvet Elvis Grill and Tap

This is a nice what I call bar/bistro. The service is amazing the food is equally great! My husband and I have been going there for a few years for our anniversary. They have the best steak hands down. Please if in the area do yourself a favor and try them out.

Velvet Elvis Grill is a great local spot in downtown Milledgeville. The staff was very attentive, but Bailey provided wonderful service -- from providing excellent food suggestions to making sure the overall experience was amazing. The Buffalo Bird sandwich was outstanding. I highly recommend!

Literally some of the best priced and best tasting food we’ve ever had! I had the grilled chicken with asparagus and mashed potatoes and my father had the fried flounder which was wonderful and my spouse had a burger. All of which were completely gone despite the big portion!

Jess was awesome. She had 14 crazy ladies to wait on tonight. She didn't miss a beat. Food was great. Atmosphere was perfect. The only thing missing was a Christmas tree. But never fear, the city of Milly supplies plenty of Christmas outside. Thank you for a great evening so these ladies could relax and enjoy some much needed girl time.

Have not eaten here, have gotten a few drinks here in the past. The day manager seemed very rude and dismissive every time I’ve been in during the day. Definitely go at night time

When the sign says the best steaks in Milledgeville, it true. It is the best steak in Milledgeville. The drinks were on point. The Bloody Mary was excellent. The margarita would have been excellent if there was more than 16 Oz. The filet and ribeye was both excellent. Cooked perfectly medium as requested. The garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus were delicious. I could have eaten more than the 5 sprigs of asparagus provided but it would probably have been to much considering how big the ribeye was. They have a great bar with a great selection of beer and mixed drinks. The atmosphere was great. If you wanted to watch the game there is plenty of TV's to do so. Only problem I had was parking. Downtown on a Thursday night it was hard to find a parking spot.

The filet was amazing, the recommended drinks rocked! My waitress Alyssa was promt and polite, even the hostess staff was pleasant unlike other places in town. Will be stopping by again soon!

Bartenders are great, service is fantastic.
Alyssa is awesome. She’s funny and great to be around. Makes the dinning experience well worth it.
