The chicken is delicious, the fried plantains are my favorite and they have kid friendly fries and chicken tenders. The sauce with the chicken is the perfect pair! I laughed in my head when he said this because he’s from NY and he’s wants to bring a soul food restaurant to Huntsville AL where we have plenty of great places to eat. He started us out with a cornbread appetizer. Nothing special, but it was the best i had. Fluffy and sweet like pound cake. My main corse was Lamb, collard greens and Mac n cheese. “I ordered the roasted wings and asked for them to be seasoned with only salt. I was not told that the wings are seasoned prior to baking with something spicy. I had not eaten the entire day, this was around 7:30pm so i was really hungry. We waited a bit for the food but it came out hot and although they were tasty, they were too spicy for me and I couldn't eat them. The waiter told the manger, Christy who was WONDERFUL. Not only did she send another type of wing over for me very quickly, she came over and asked if the next time we came back in that she would ask the kitchen to make the roasted wings without the spicy seasoning for me. This is a rarity these days in any restaurant. We hadn't been back to Taco Mac for over a year since the last time we went the food wasn't good. Christy and her wonderful service, we'll be going back again!“

That’s not how we do it where I’m from, but it was lightly coated with cornstarch. NOW don’t start running saying nah. I actually was disappointed before I tried them and once I added some more lemon pepper sprinkles it was actually spot on. You’re going to have to probably say extra crispy on the fries because they need to work on their crispy fries, BUTTT the wings are a perfect size and really good. NOW they didn’t have fruit punch so I couldn’t get a 3-mix, but they did have peach and lemonade and it was made correctly. So pull up on these folks and enjoy! The customer service was good and the health score is 100 and all their other scores in the past are 100 too. 🫡“
