This place was my go to donut shop for years. They closed and later re-opened and since then, they haven't been the same. The glazed donut tastes just like Dunkin Donuts down the street. The glaze is melted off and/or too watered down (runny). They also don't operate on fixed hours. You never know when they will be open, They have business hours posted on their door but I have been there during business hours to find them closed. And regarding the glaze donut issue...I'm noticing this in most of the donut shops I go to. Ray's in Canton is excellent. Just wish I had a good donut shop closer to home. It's a shame Delightful isn't what they used to be. If they're even open again that is.

I’m so happy Delightful Donuts is back open!!! ??The best doughnuts in North Atlanta, and some of the best in all of Atlanta. The classic glazed yeast doughnut is perfect. I still think they need to perfect the apple fritter, though. I choose them over most, and I’m also glad they are so close to home.

This donut shop is back open! It was sadly closed for the last year but it is doing a soft reopening this week.
These are wonderful donuts! These aren't the average donuts you can get anywhere, these are definitely gourmet level. They are made fresh, with great texture and flavor. If you are a fan of donuts, do yourself a favor and try these. I especially liked the apple fritter.
