La Mer is a beautifully designed space with a nice ambience. The service was very good throughout our meal. The cocktail selection is terrific, and we enjoyed our drinks. However, the food menu and quality need work. The menu includes a nice list of appetizers, most of which sound very good. We had the bbq oysters ($20 for 6). We had a great time at La Mer Seafood! Was our first time. The service was excellent with great recommendations by the waiters. The food was excellent. We enjoyed our evening and did not feel rushed.
This new restaurant deserves every five star review! We came here for a date night and absolutely loved it! I am not typically a very adventurous eater or a seafood lover, so I initially found the menu to be daunting. I ended up taking a leap of faith and trusting the chef to know what he's doing, and I do not regret it one bit! I'd happily eat anything off the menu here, which not something I'd easily say about any restaurant. This was by far one of the most delicious...
