I ate lunch on 11/21/24. It was the first time in the restaurant in probably 5 or 6 years. I had the shepherd's pie, which was very good. It needed a little salt but was a good portion. For dessert, I had the bread pudding, which was wonderful. It was not frozen or from a box. It was worthy of a stop just for dessert. I hate the William Wallace mannequin, it's creepy and scottish. They play contemporary music for lunch and I would have liked something Celtic but I understand...
My bartender was a jolly man from Scotland named Johnny. It was a blast to watch him stir the pot between the English and the Aussies during the rugby game on Saturday.
Onion soup was amazing. The steak sandwich...not so much. Johnny and the experience made my day. You should drop in and check it out if you want a quick teleport to another land without leaving good ol Georgia
