Hibachi soup was not edible, it tasted really gross. I’ve never tasted a soup so bad. Hibachi steak was flavorless and had a weird sauce on it. The fried rice came on a separate plate and had square carrots in it and no seasoning also very mushy. Side salad came with one tiny bit of dressing and the waiter stated its because they only have a little bit left. They do not serve fountain drinks they give cans of soda. The waiter was nice but the food was really gross :(

Out of all the places I have eaten this is by far the worst. The food is so bland and has no taste. The salad dressing is watery and the meat has no season. Have tried the Hibachi and it is not good either, so with that being said I definitely not be passing on any positive recommendations to my friends and family about eating here.

This place is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants my wife and I have ever experienced. The portions were large and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves sushi or hibachi. My family and I loved everything! The service was fantastic as well! Thank you Mr. Anthony for being an incredible server and waiter.

This is my favorite sushi spot. I have tried many other sushi places around the world and none like this. This is simply the best sushi restaurant, and the best in Alpharetta. Chef Danny’s attention and service is always the best.

This place is amazing, totally worth coming here. The sushi chef was amazing, he helped me and my wife with our order and even brought it to us. He was just full of positive energy and happiness. Even made me and my wife laugh a lot, we left the restaurant full and happy. Would definitely come back because of him.If you want real sushi, you should come here! I use to be a sushi chef and this is the real deal.

I have been eating here since pre-pandemic, when they still had the sushi buffet! Such a great deal, so fresh and delicious. They don't offer that anymore, but they have an amazing lunch special. My favorite sushi in Atlanta. Had to leave a review, as I came in last weekend for lunch and the chef was taking orders, running the register, and preparing the food. Even by himself, he had such a great attitude. I placed a to-go order, and was taken care of, with such kindness! Highly recommend, hard not to go weekly!

the best sushi in the Windward area. Fresh fish with high quality cuts. The sushi chef is very passionate and has skill in the craft. This is a local small business. It does have periods of difficulty with staffing.

Went there and have the curry udon. It was okay. Wasn't seasoned well enough. If I return I'll probably try something else.

This is hands down one of my favorite sushi restaurants but I can’t give it the 5 stars I want to give it because of certain caveats. Here’s the down low on the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly. Let’s start with the good. The sushi is expertly and exceptionally prepared. It is not only fresh, and beautifully plated but it comes with an array of crafted sauces that are divine! I’ve eaten at A LOT of sushi restaurants, high end and not so high end, since sushi is my all time favorite food and I have yet to find a spot that makes sushi better than Ume (which used to be Rusans back in the day and still serves several of Rusans original dishes like the Big Eye, Ocean’s 11 and Spicy Chicken Yaki udon.. all delicious by the way). Not only is the sushi the best you’ll ever eat, but they are not chintzy on portion sizes either. I would highly recommend the Cherry Blossom, Tuna Dumplings, and the Lobster King crab roll. Into spicy? Then the AK47 is where it’s at! Now for the bad. The entire 4 stars is for the food alone. It probably should be 3 stars but the food is just that good. The ambiance, however, is not so great. The restaurant needs to upgrade the seating, the decor, and the restrooms desperately. A couple of years ago they were working towards this goal but they seem to be struggling to get back on track after the pandemic. To make matters much much worse, they seem to be really struggling with finding enough staff to service the dining room adequately. It appears that many customers go with the takeout option as my husband and I are often one of just a handful of customers in the dining room lately, if not the only customers… and this restaurant used to be packed a few years ago. The Ugly is how bad the staffing situation has gotten …while I am a huge fan of kids and I think it is important that they learn a strong work ethic, I don’t really want to be served by them when I go out for a meal. While this only happened once, if it had been my first time eating here, I might not have come back. Dining out is as much about the experience as it is the food. I hope they are able to find more staff soon and can get back on track again towards being a phenomenal restaurant!
My girlfriend and I have been coming here forever, as regulars they always recognize and greet us. The food is worth the money, they give great portions to price, the salmon is of good quality and melts in your mouth, the tuna is fresh, and all of there fried rolls are amazing. The chef, Danny, comes up and shows his appreciation to us, his customers. Overall great place, great food, and great atmosphere.
