When you see the workers are just too busy talking instead of focusing on the order, they give you half of your order, and when you ask for the rest of tour food, you have to show your receipt, then they get an attitude, make the food, and throw the bag at the cashier like they never wanted to be there, I'd rather not come back ans support. Needs better management plus the inspection score of 85 is showing why I will never enter this establishment.

I used to be a regular, now I'm not sure if I'll return after the new year. The staff doesn't want to be there. The location is always out of something. Bread and fries are always soggy.
Pick somewhere else for lunch, this is no longer it.

I’m writing this because this was one of the most frustrating food experiences I’ve had in a long time. I went to Cook Out excited to treat myself. Due to a medical condition, I can only eat a burger about once a month, so this wasn’t a casual stop for me. I ordered a meal with a burger, fries, a drink, and a bacon wrap. The bacon wrap came out first and was already a problem — the tortilla was burnt and soaked in oil, clearly overcooked and thrown together. I still ate it and moved on. When I got to the burger, it was undercooked. I didn’t eat it. About an hour later, I came back and explained calmly that the burger was underdone. The cashier was polite, and the cook came out to speak with me. I explained the issue, and he offered to remake the entire meal, even though I only asked for the burger. I appreciated that gesture. Unfortunately, the replacement meal was worse than the first. The burger was completely overcooked and burnt, with the texture of a sausage An excessive amount of pickles were piled on it The fries were oversalted to the point of being inedible, like salt had been dumped on them The bacon wrap was wrong altogether and had chicken in it instead Every single item was messed up. It honestly felt careless and almost intentional. This was especially upsetting because I have health limitations, and the excessive salt alone was unacceptable. When someone takes the time to come back respectfully and explain a problem, the response should be care — not making the food worse. I won’t be returning to this location again. This experience was disappointing, unnecessary, and completely avoidable.

My review isn't for the food, that was good. It's for the cashier, Malachai. I wasn't having the best day and once he handed me my order I told him to have a good day and he said I hope you have a better one... that absolutely made my day better. You have a good and kind employee there. Thank you!

Very affordable and delicious. Burger and sides were steaming hot and the seasonal pumpkin pie shake was killer. If I see another location I would stop in a heartbeat. Well worth the money.
