We stopped in after a doctor appt. The reviews were pretty good. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. We walked in and nobody greeted us or even said hi. I said hello hoping that somebody might catch the error. The restaurant doesn't have seating. It's more of a to go place. There is no place to sit down even as you wait for your order. No bench or chairs even. We ordered two catfish dinners. Only after paying were we told the menu prices were not updated. So why would a restaurant have menus that don't have the correct pricing?? I have never heard such a thing in my life. I definitely said something about this. It was our first time and we live in a completely different county. The three guys at the counter didn't exactly apologized. They did offer to comp us another dinner to make up for the $16 difference. So we did. Regardless of how the food tastes, I was disappointed. Definitely won't be returning.

Tried to order through a National food delivery service, immediately after ee paid I received a phone call from the restaurant they don’t have Red Velvet cake they don’t have chocolate cake they don’t have broccoli they don’t have several other items. Tell them to refund those items and send the meal anyway. 15 minutes later the national food delivery service calls us and tells us that the restaurant has canceled because they don’t have the items they need to fulfill our order. This is a huge question mark to me because this is a seafood place and that’s what we ordered shrimp and catfish are they not the staples of a seafood restaurant? Don’t worry I will never order from you again ~

My food experience at Fishers Of Men; The Gumbo was excellent NOT tomatoee even though I had one medium size shrimp but it had loads of andouille and peppers. I had the grilled sample Catfish, Scallops, and fried clams, sides were fish fries , hushpuppies the food was enough for two days. The Key Lime cake supberb!

My husband and I recently recently visited GA for a wedding. We looked for seafood near our hotel and this restaurant came up, and the hotel clerk referred. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the restaurant is clean. This is a family owned business, and they make you feel like family. From the warm hello when you come to the see you next time when you leave.

My experience with FoM was exquisite. From the call-ahead phone call order to the moment I started to eat. We purchased the large family meals with two helpers. The whitings were buttery, crunchy, sweet, and melt in your mouth. The helpers were tasty too with just the amount of spice on all the products. I was very happy to enjoy their hospitality and professional service. I wished I had known of this fish place months and years ago. I have told my friends and family. I live in Marietta, but the family was in Jonesboro for a few days, and we ordered some take out. Without going into detail, from the order to the last bite, the experience was excellent. All the family members were happy, and there was definitive agreement that the shrimp was excellent, and the fried green tomatoes were the best we had tasted! We were very happy with our experience. We found this on TA, as we were in the area for a weekend trip. The staff was so friendly and outgoing; offered samples of their seafood Alfredo, even as we were looking at the menu board. The Crab Balls were worth the trip alone! So light and flavorful. All the food was great. If I had to critique anything, I would say that to add to my experience, get better plasticware; the food was awesome, but the flimsy fork kinda took away from the experience.....

This place is not fancy but good food. Reasonable prices and good service. All food served on paper plates with plastic forks. The cup of gumbo had lots of shrimp in it. The fried shrimp was really good.

We stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. The staff was very courteous and answered all of our questions as well as have us samples of their Seafood Alfredo which I ordered and enjoyed. My husband had fried catfish with Mac n Cheese and collard greens with smoked turkey. They make their own remoulade sauce which was quite tasty and went well with their equally tasty crab balls. Our meal with water and sweet tea was $33.
Took my parents to check out this restaurant on a recommendation. Great menu. Reasonably priced. Everything looked good coming out of the kitchen. Staff were warm & friendly! Loved their energy. The food was very good! Good to eat in & take out. I will definitely be a regular!

Fishers of Men is located on Mt Zion Road in a strip mall near Jonesboro Road. I love seafood and when I saw this place, could not resist trying it. What I found was a family run business who is the BEST at customer service I have found in any city and by far better than the fancy restaurants. Clean, inviting, with both booths and chairs, you go to the counter to order and they bring your food to you. They have a menu, but check the specials board before you order. I got grilled tilapia which was served over a bed of rice. I chose collard greens and mac an cheese for my sides. The mac an cheese was baked and the greens were real! Sweet tea is great and is refilled often. OH....Oh...oh...the pound cake is just like your grandma used to make because they are handmade. They had several other selections too, and all looked great. Thank you Demetrius for making my stay so pleasant. After a long day of driving, it was so wonderful to sit in such a pleasant atmosphere and be surrounded by good people and good (gospel) music. People of Morrow, you need to make this one of your frequent stops. Good food at good prices with great people. (They do take out too)

Fisher of Men is such a place - they specialized on Fish dishes (but if you must they have chicken as well), I came in late and ordered the Cat fish dinner combo that comes with 2 side dishes and a choice of drink. You order, pay, and than wait for your food to be cooked from fresh. The waiting was worth it! I got a very generous and delicious portion (3 big pieces) of Cat fish over tasty rice (cooked with herbs). There other threat was the fried Ocra side dish - crispy nuggets with the great taste and texture of Ocra (if you like it). They serve the dishes with a variety of sauces - I like my fish w/ a Tartar sauce - which was well chilled and excellent. everything was cooked ans served with love. ohhh and all of the above for about $12

During my visit to this location yesterday's; I notice quite a few things that came to my attention. When first entering I was greeted with a smile. Then I noticed the cleanliness of the restaurant because my son always has to "use it". The restroom was clean and fully stocked with tissue paper towels and soap!! As I approached the register the worked was polite. I ordered fresh shrimp and fish. I got just that fresh fish and shrimp. My overall experience was great and I will visit again

I am very pleased. Ordered using UberEATS and it was delivered on time. The garlic butter used for the crab legs was flavorful. I loved the corn too- it soaks up all of the butter and gives a juicy bite. Never even knew of a good seafood place close to home; but now I found my spot.
