Chelsi, the bartender was amazing. She was very welcoming immediately upon arrival. She let me sample a drink called “Rum Punch” and I will be coming back just for this type of service and atmosphere. The food was also delicious. 5 stars from me!!!

Stopped here before catching our flight and was upset we weren't staying longer. Loved the atmosphere and the customer service. The owner was friendly and welcoming. The food was seasoned well and great portions for the price!

I ordered the oxtail dinner and salmon salad and let’s just say it was not worth 50$ the oxtail dinner meat portion sucked it was not enough meat and most definitely not worth 25$

Wing tips were boiled and no sauce. Mac n cheese was so dry you could pick the block up on fork and it wouldn't fall apart. Greens has gritty taste. The potato salad was ok. Barbecue chicken looked like plain baked chicken with a sauce? I bought three dinner meals with a couple of extra sides. This was my first time eating from there. I had a taste for soul food being new to the area. That wasn't it for me. I almost want to go on the kitchen and show them what soul food is. But being 70 I can't do it.?

No taste, sides were horrible, fried fish, chicken and shrimp were bland, no seasoning at all cooked in old grease food was dark colored, will never ever eat there again…

First time trying this place. Was getting food for my elderly mother who’s very particular about her food. I talked with the chef about making sure there was no seasoning on her food because she finds everything too salty (must be an elderly thing). He told me he understood and cooked her order to her liking and fixed mine the way I wanted. This went a long way with me. Most establishments wouldn’t have gone out of their way to do a request like that. I really appreciated it and highly recommend this place. By the way…she loved the food.

When we arrived, there was no greeting. We sat down and about 10 minutes later a young lady with dark shades on greeted us with menus, asked us what we were drinking, and never removed the dark shades.
We wanted oxtails, but she said they were not ready yet, even though they were special for the day. So we ordered smothered turkey wings. She brought out drinks and we waited.
We waited almost 30 minutes with only one other customer in the restaurant.
When she brought our food, the wings were dry and were not smothered. The green tasted horrible, and the green beans were overcooked and horrible. The rice and lima beans were ok, but because the turkey wing was not smothered, the rice was dry,
Please work on the taste of the food and the friendliness of the restaurant. The wait was not worth the quality of the food and most definitely the price was not. When your customer leave most of the food on their plate and it's full just like when you brought it to them, ask questions and accommodate to see what could have been done.
