I have been coming to this spot for over 10 years. Definitely my favorite pho spot on the south side of town. Service is good and you are served your food quickly.

My brother hosted our monthly family Dinner here at VN PHO. This was our first time trying non america food and it was an experience. The only downside is the menu is kinda confusing and some of the staff don't understand English. I ordered the egg noodle dish when it came it had peanuts everywhere. Peanuts were not listed on the menu at all.

I absolutely love this place the customer service is top tier. The food is sssssooooo good and fresh. My food ALWAYS comes out in a timely manner. And if you’re vegan there’s really tasty options for you. The quality of the food is chefs kiss and the price is reasonable for what they offer. Must try!

TLDR: Food is excellent but black men are not exactly “welcomed” here.First and foremost I love the food and portion size. Excellent for the price, the mixture of fatty chunks to lean chunks of meat in ratio t the onions and noodles.EXCELLENT.However and this must be spoken on. If you’re a black male with a tinted car do not park anywhere near the restaurant, as per my past (outside of this experience with law enforcement) and including my first trip here and first time doing business here.There was an elderly Asian woman who came and stood next to my car as I attempted to finish watching the last couple minutes of the Jamal Hill / Glover UFC fight before I went in.She got on the phone, begin pointing it it at me as if she was recording me. Then talking loudly into the phone and ignoring me blatantly as I politely asked her.. mam can you please leave me alone or get away from my car as your oddly close and your yelling so loud it’s interfering with me trying to watch my fight.Other than that dope experience. Seeing as how a false 911 call can result in a black man being killed potentially by law enforcement in this country. Not sure if I’ll return.

I ordered the chicken pho to go for a change I normally order in and have no problem. The bag was tied so tight I couldn’t check the order. I arrive at home and checked it and thought the broth looked dark. The broth tasted like beef. I called and advised them that I think I got the wrong order. He informed me that they only use beef broth for all pho orders. I haven’t eaten beef in 3 years. I have been here several time before and the broth never tasted like beef. It’s usually wonderful. Thankfully they provided me a full refund. It was just disappointing to know I can’t eat here going forward.
