We ate there (Moultrie, GA location) back on Sunday, November 16, 2025 and we paid with our debit card using tap to pay. On Monday, November 17, 2025 the amount of our bill was both debited and credited to our account. Meaning that we got our food for free. While most people would see this as a good sign, I see it as a possible scam or maybe even a theft. However you look at the situation just beware of them when using your debit card. Make sure you keep a close watch on your account.

Was open and still refused service to anybody in the drive thru and kept the doors locked to the inside while peeping around corners and out the windows. Not sure what the workers have going on.
*this experience was about a month or so ago while doordashing, had to cancel the customers order due to this.

Horrible customer service. Waited 30 minutes in drive thru. No one answered speaker and when I finally got to the window was ignored another 15 minutes until an employee with an attitude problem came and said we're not taking any orders, the kitchen needs time to get caught up and closed the window immediately. Very rude and unprofessional

So disappointed and unimpressed with the food here. We haven't eaten from a Captain D's in a really long time and thought we stop here for a late dinner. We ordered 2 meals, both with 2 fish filets, and butterfly shrimp, one had stuffed crab shells and the other with chicken strips. Sides were fries and slaw and double mac n cheese. The fish was so over cooked and dry that we could really only eat the center. The butterfly shrimp were pretty hard as well but not quite as bad. The fries were cold a rubbery but edible i guess and the mac n cheese was just not good. My husband said they did a great job on the chicken strips and the stuffed crab shells were pretty good. We were there an hour before closing and the place was almost dead. Its not like they were scrambling around in there trying to get a whole lot of food out to a bunch of customers. We waited patiently and had no problem sitting there as long as we did because we thought the food would be better. I can remember the last time we came here, has to be over ten years ago.... The food was great! The fish was tender and juicy. They gave you the little crunchy chips of batter that fell off while your fish was cooking... I guess we shouldn't have went tonight and our last memory would have still been a good one lol this place sucks now.

The service tonight was great! The young lady at the window was very sweet and patient from beginning to end. I hadn’t been in a while due to an unpleasant experience my last visit. But I will be back thanks to her :)

Out of last 6 visits over 1 year period hoping newer management was in place , and none of my orders in house for carry out have been acceptable. If corporate was to do a sting operation they would fire everyone on the spot. What a pathetic representation of what was in the past which was always acceptable and delicious . If management does not treat customers as the reason they have jobs then how much waste and theft is also taking place . Shut this place down and fix it or corporate will soon cause its extinction .

Sunday after church. One in lobby doing both drive thru and front end. Three in kitchen. Waited 15 minutes to order. Lady had to finally ask one from back to help her on front side. Felt bad for her. Restaurant was dirty. Tables, floors etc. Understand why Health score was a B .

They called to tell me they were out of what I ordered but the lady was super nice and patient with me over the phone and helped by offering to fry my order instead of grilling since their grill was down, She even threw in a free sweet tea onto my order! 10/10 service and food☺️
