One of my favorite taquerias in the Hapeville area. Very casual. And everything is always quick and delicious. We typically grab to-go (and they wrap everything up well, so that there's no spills or dimished quality). but it's also nice and chill when you sit down to dine. I enjoy Taqueria Don Chon very much, and I highly recommend them for dine-in and take-out.

We stopped by here on our way to the airport and the food was delicious. Authentic mexican food. Chips and 4 types of salsa COMPLIMENTARY were amazing! I tried 4 tacos, birria (amazing, cheesy, flavorful) barbacoa, shrimp and asada. They were all very delicious. I really loved them all and I am not easy on my ratings when it comes to mexican food! Definitely recommend trying this small business!

maybe it's just me .... Idk but this is just my opinion. The service is 0 stars, sorry. I've been to other taquerias and the service compared is MID at best. The food is good (I had a steak burrito) however it's the worlds smallest burrito for $12. I guess I should have stuck with the tacks like everybody else .

This is definitely one of those hole in the wall spots you might miss if your driving too fast . When i tell you the flavors here are insane ! This food was so authentic and tasty I am having a hard time deciding what i want to try next. Very small inside but the flavors are Huge!!

They have to update the prices, because you look at one price on the menu and pay a higher one, and the tip when paying is already included, probably I will back , food is kind ok

It would be nice if the person taking your order could understand all English! Asking for simple things she could understand then started trying to communicate with me in Spanish! SMH! The food was not good enough for me to return. I was just trying to order a to-go-order and she was bringing me chips and salsa I clearly said to go she just stood there looking at me just sad.

The restaurant is consistently giving the greatest and most flavorful food! At this point I'm like start a food truck!!!! It's that good! My husband and I love salsa bar they give us! It's to die for! We love each and every taco we try! Thank you for giving us a space to enjoy and just have connection between ourselves each and every time we come! We always learn new things about ourselves! And even though we moved to midtown, we still comThankkkkk yooouuu! We love Don Chon.
Best tacos in Atlanta. I enjoy going later at night and they are open till late which is rare. Definitely eat in and they give you chips with an assortment of salsas!

Went to check this place out since colleagues recommended this and the reviews. Highly disappointed and won't return.From the moment we walked in to the empty restaurant on Friday excoted to try these tacos, we seemed a bother. We placed two separate orders, when getting home the orders were in the wrong containers, so why write the orders on the containers? Asked if we wanted onions and cilantro on them, only onions not one leaf of cilantro. I ordered a side of queso, wasn't there. Does Birroa come with a dipping sauce, we were told yes, but didn't find that in our order at all.Overall sub par service, sub par food!Definitely a no for me, and I've had street tacos all over the states. Don't waste your time. So dissatisfied with the service, food and taste.

Nope!!!... This place ain't hitting on nothing... My birria and shrimp tacos were completely tasteless!!.. Bae's steak quesadilla "supreme" was short on meat and bland... The journey for good food continues!!!

I had the steak torta .. The meat was seasoned to perfection. There was a good meat to bread ratio. The bread was soft. It was one of the best ones I've had. Staff was friendly... Great experience! I will be returning.
