This Dominican restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic and delicious Dominican food. This place is a true hidden gem where the flavors do all the talking!

The star of the show is, without a doubt, the fantastic food. Everything we ordered tasted homemade and bursting with flavor. The mofongo was perfectly prepared, moist, and savory, and the stewed chicken (pollo guisado) was tender and deeply seasoned, falling right off the bone. Even the sides—the rice and beans, and the sweet plantains (maduros)—were exceptional. This is truly some of the best Dominican cuisine I've had outside of a family kitchen.

Equally wonderful is the friendly staff. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely cheerful. They were happy to answer questions about the menu and offered great recommendations, making the whole dining experience comfortable and enjoyable.

The only area where the restaurant falls a little short is the atmosphere. It's clean and functional, but fairly simple—a typical, no-frills setup. It's perfectly okay, but it lacks the vibrant decor or cozy ambiance that might elevate the dining experience to the next level. If you're looking for a fancy dinner spot, this isn't it.

The Verdict: Don't let the simple decor deter you! Come here for the incredible food and the gracious service. Your taste buds will thank you.

My first visit here was a good experience. Now my second experience wasn't good at all with the food. The Oxtail meal obviously wasn't cook that day and was served to me warm and was chewy. The empanada was dry, hollow and lacked flavor. I will give them another chance to get it right only because my 1st experience was good.

The food was very good right amount of vinegar and not greasy. Overall excellent I ordered one chicken and one beef empanada and received two chicken so unable to rate the beef but the roast pork chiccharron and chicken empanadas were excellent. A little music outside in the seating area would have made it a 5

I’ve been a fan for years, and the food is always delicious, consistent, and served quickly. The owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, treating every customer with genuine warmth. The portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. I can’t get enough of the pernil or the chicharrones—both are outstanding. HIGHLY recommend!

I cannot praise this place enough. I'm always recommending it to friends and colleagues so much that I thought I should leave a review. The food is excellent. Although I have yet to try the entire menu, I can honestly say that their Pollo Guisado and Baked Pork are among the best I've had. The portions are extremely generous and so is the price. The staff is always smiling and incredibly friendly. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming and humble. This is easily one of my favorite places to eat in Newnan. I wish nothing but the best for this restaurant as they deserve it.
