I honestly use to love this place and their food especially when I first moved in the Newnan area for work and so did my girlfriend but the past 2 times I’ve ordered it’s disappointed me with how the flavor of the food has changed, hard rice, very small portions when I’m paying 20$ for a meal that I’m so excited to taste. This place use to make me feel like I was back in Brooklyn eating at the lil Hispanic restaurants that always have great cultural flavor to their and other selections but it seems like this restaurant fell off. I’m sorry but I cannot come back anymore after that last meal was just plain terrible.

Best Ox tail, chicken, and pork I've had in my entire life. I've been eating here 3 times a week for over 6 months and haven't come close to getting tired. Just getting started. Amazing and kind family runs it. Good ppl, great food, this is the kind of family establishment that deserves all the success in the world!!! And I hardly ever use that word 'deserve' ever, much less use it lightly. If you haven't grabbed lunch here and are in Newnan area, you are crazy. Mucho Gracias a mis amigos en Comer Caluente y Frio!!!!!!

I came in shortly after they opened. Unfortunately, the tostones tasted old and re-fried, and the baked chicken also tasted like it was from the day before. The Spanish rice was okay, and the pollo empanada was decent. As a boriqua, I’m not sure if I’d return for the food, but I will say the spot itself is clean, low-key, and tucked away nicely.

One of our favorite spots! Love the food. Every dish is highly recommended. We have tried the baked chicken, the pork chops, the mofongos, empanadas, yuca fries, and we have loved it all.

This Dominican restaurant is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic and delicious Dominican food. This place is a true hidden gem where the flavors do all the talking!

The star of the show is, without a doubt, the fantastic food. Everything we ordered tasted homemade and bursting with flavor. The mofongo was perfectly prepared, moist, and savory, and the stewed chicken (pollo guisado) was tender and deeply seasoned, falling right off the bone. Even the sides—the rice and beans, and the sweet plantains (maduros)—were exceptional. This is truly some of the best Dominican cuisine I've had outside of a family kitchen.

Equally wonderful is the friendly staff. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely cheerful. They were happy to answer questions about the menu and offered great recommendations, making the whole dining experience comfortable and enjoyable.

The only area where the restaurant falls a little short is the atmosphere. It's clean and functional, but fairly simple—a typical, no-frills setup. It's perfectly okay, but it lacks the vibrant decor or cozy ambiance that might elevate the dining experience to the next level. If you're looking for a fancy dinner spot, this isn't it.

The Verdict: Don't let the simple decor deter you! Come here for the incredible food and the gracious service. Your taste buds will thank you.
