My husband and I ate there for lunch recently. Our food was not good. My Pecan Chicken Salad tasted like it came in a box and was just barely heated up. It tasted like it was fried in rancid oil. My meal was $16.00. I can make healthier much better prepared food at home.

Great place!
Unfriendly staff seemed put out to have to greet and seat us. We sat for a few minutes without a server, then left. I'm not sure the server knew we were there or that we left. It was our first visit and our last.

The hostess was nonsociable. The waitress was slow to fill the water. I ordered the fish and chips. Excessive batter, fried too long, same with the fries overly browned. Not a crisp rather a crunch. The tartar sauce is the worst I have ever eaten. I am 48 and have traveled all around the world. I would expect this level of poor execution of a simple dish in a back alley pool hall. The plate presentation wasn’t bad with a small leaf of lettuce and a 2 tablespoons of Cole slaw. Come on three bites of slaw. I would add the fried pickles weren’t bad but overly soggy. They had salt but no pickle flavor. Even with ranch the pickles lacked that something. My guest ordered a Caesar salad. The salad was great in appearance and flavor.
I don’t mean to distract from the ambiance. The back patio had fire tables, fans, overhead heaters. A lot of time and investment into the experience. I just wish they didn’t experiment with such a simple and classic fan favorite such as the fish and chips. Sugar in the tartar sauce?? Maybe for dipping French fries but not for dipping fish.
Very clean appetizer was great the southwest egg rolls and the street tacos I recommend this place

This restaurant continues to change management which is now horrible. I had an experience with the management which is unacceptable. The manager was so rude with me and also with a customer on the phone with a complaint. I will never spend anymore of my hard earned money at this establishment.I have been to this restaurant over 20 times starting before it was under the logo name it has now. I have never experienced this type of customer service. Leadership interaction with customers are a crucial piece to the business. The food was my discrepancy, however the disrespect received from the manger supersedes everything else ........

I am disappointed to hear you do not honor reservations . You really messed up a family function for 20 family members.
Ice cold beer.... Excellent spot. I didn't try the food, but it looked great. I came for a couple of drinks, and the service was beyond excellent at the bar. Audrey was wonderful and a gem in this industry along with all of the other crew members I talked to. Will be back.
Professionalism and customer service should always be the top priorities of any establishment. On November 6th, our family made a reservation in person for the private room at Art & Jakes. The room was shown to my aunt to confirm it was suitable for our family, which includes children and small babies. She accepted the room based on this, and we confirmed the reservation again in person on December 2nd.
However, our experience today was nothing short of disappointing.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by a manager, Joe, who was at the hostess stand, loudly speaking rudely to a customer on the phone in front of other guests. After informing the hostess of our party name, we were told that our room was ready and that guests were already inside. She then escorted us to the room, where we placed our drink orders with our server, who was doing an excellent job, and settled in. At no point was our server at fault in this scenario. She was amazing!
Within 10 minutes, however, Joe entered the room and rudely informed us that we had to move because the room had been double-booked with another party at noon, despite our reservation being for 11:30. Rather than apologizing for the mix-up, Joe was abrasive and demanding. When we calmly explained that we had made this reservation a month ago and confirmed it again on December 2nd, he showed no concern and continued to be rude, even saying, "I don’t care." When my aunt asked if we would be compensated for the inconvenience, Joe’s response was dismissive—he offered us either the patio or two small inside tables.
When she requested his last name, Joe refused to provide it. I found this insulting, as if we weren't smart enough to know that his full name is on the documents required to be posted in restaurants. We were then moved to a cramped space that could accommodate only 24 people, even though our party size was 25+, with a need for highchairs. Despite the inconvenience, Joe remained unprofessional throughout.
After some time, Joe returned with a post-it note featuring a first name and a phone number, but once again refused to provide the owner's last name. The name he gave us did not match the one listed on the restaurant’s licensing.
As noon approached, the room we had reserved remained empty, and we later learned that the other party who had been given our room was given priority to accommodate their need for to decorate. It became clear that our reservation had been moved to suit their needs. Their guests started filtering in as our party was paying our checks. We hold no ill will towards the other party, this is not in anyway their fault. We are extremely frustrated by how Art & Jakes handled this situation. Joe’s unprofessional behavior, the misinformation about the owner’s contact details, and the lack of proper compensation were unacceptable.
Our family, which was just a small part of a larger group, will no longer be patronizing this establishment. After witnessing how Joe treated us in front of other customers, we are confident that many others will feel the same way.
Terrible customer service. Overpriced food for mediocre quality.
