I have got a few good deals here before so ill add a second star. For the most part, grocery prices are a little high even when buying in bulk. You don't save any money compared to competitors. Here is my 1 star experience and why im cancelling memebership. I found a bulk ribeye in the meat department. It was the sell by date. I was willing to buy it and freeze it same day but I asked if they were going to mark it down since it was the expired date. The butcher told me that no, he will cut it up and repackage it. I asked, today is the sell by date but you will cut and repackage and extend the sell by date even though its expiring? The butcher said yes. Now you know if you buy cut steaks from BJs it may have expired (sell by date) and repackaged.
Terrible location and company. There is a reason why all of BJ’s locations are below 4.0 stars all the way to New York. ??
Most of the stuff is inexpensive compared to Costco.
This review is 100% based on Tally, the robot machine that chirps every thirty seconds. This robot is the most obnoxious feature that could possibly exist in the retail world. Every other minute my ego is tanked when I think I’m being cat called but instead it’s just the robot. This loud and annoying machine roams the stores and doesn’t appear to have a mute function. The lack of music in the store creates a constant white noise of shopping carts combined with the high pitched whistle produced by this electronic creature. It’s like having a fire alarm with low batteries.
I was at BJS when it was pretty busy. I had a gift card so could not check out myself. I had the pleasure of dealing with Jeff. What a pleasant nice guy! He was running from register to register, helping everyone. I waited patiencely for him and when he finally came to my turn he checked me out with speed and a smile! Way to go Jeff! you made my day and Thanks for being so nice to this old lady!!!!
I purchased a rotisserie chicken today only to get home and realize that the chicken is still clucking. Called the store and a lady tells me that I have to bring the chicken back for a refund & that there's no manager around to speak with.
BJ'S has excellent service. Long story short had to buy new tv. Husband had to ask a million questions at closing last Saturday. Everyone was so helpful. Giving us info. They have awesome prices on the tvs too. Love BJs have membership at Sams too. BJs carrys everything. Bought battery for lawnmower. Great Price exchanged core.
No good customer service
Never a real register open. Instead, they have 3 employees running self check and expecting g me to do work for their company for free. All the while expecting me to also take on the liability of something going wrong and ending up arrested.
I was attempting to buy a television and I had difficulty finding someone to help me. The door attendant called someone, but noone came. The attendant didn't check to see if I had been helped and seemed unconcerned. I just left and bought a television somewhere else.

This club has the best prices on meats and most other food items especially if you have a large family. They have a great selection of you are vegan, vegetarian, or you eat a normal four food groups diet. The membership is worth it especially if you get the rewards membership the cash back is great. You can also use your rewards at the pump which is already lower than most gas prices by at least 20 to 30 cents.
