I had curry goat along with yellow rice and collard greens and goat head soup. Best believe it was delicious! Best food I had in a while! 100/100 that’s how good it is to me 💯

Ordered on 07/25/25 at 12:30pm Worst Jamaican food I have ever eaten in my 37 years. Plantains were dry, Mac and cheese was dry, Jerk chicken tasted like plain baked chicken. Cabbage was mediocre. The only thing deserving to eat this food is a stray dog on the street I wouldn’t even feed this to my pet dog. But at least the food wasn’t cold.

Honestly, the food was pretty disappointing. Caribbean food can be absolutely mind blowing and personally, this place does a disservice to it. The curry goat was bland and way overcooked. It was dry and chewy and did not fall off the bone the way I’m used to. They have great portion sizes and they’re pretty affordable, but definitely not a good representation of how amazing Caribbean food could be. The cabbage was also extremely hard, as if it barely got steamed. It lacked flavor even with the juices from the curry on it.

Golden Krust has the BEST food in Newnan. Incredibly flavorful recipes and the portions are enough for 2-3 meals. We typically order to go. (The eating area closes at 6pm for cleaning.) You can’t go wrong ordering anything- it’s all excellent. The brown stew chicken is a family favorite, followed by oxtail and curried chicken.

Wasted $15. Bought 3 beef patties with cheese, got almost all the way home (45 minutes away) and tried to eat one and they're all chicken curry patties. It tastes like a thick over powering curry paste I don't even taste the chicken. Im getting over a cold so i couldn't smell them when I got the bag or i would've taken it back in immediately. Glad I didn't let my child take a bite of one because they're allergic to curry. Yall need to do a better job of making sure paying customers get what they actually paid for.

I always come at least once a month, best coco bread and beef patties anywhere near newnan! They are always fairly quick and courteous, come try the ox tail!!

I don’t like meat but I could eat this jerk chicken every day. Soooooo good and the portions are well worth the money. The yams were amazing as well. My whole family was happy and the staff was friendly.
