Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

Went to get some food today after a while it was not good and I had better. First and foremost there isn't a variety of choices like others. The food has no taste and flavor whatsoever, the rice and beans was very salty, jerk chicken, curry goat and oxtail meal was not tasting fresh either, plantain very mushy but the vegetables was ok at least it need some more carrots. Overall food was tasteless. You all need to do better and I dont see you guys lasting long....if you do not change your Chef. Definitely I will not be returning. The food was Great from the beginning but not anymore.

The food was good. However one of the staff seemed like she didn’t want to serve me. She looked over me and served the guy behind me. The guy even looked at her and said are you sure because he didn’t want to break in line. It was an odd experience because she didn’t even acknowledge me. It was like I was a ghost. I’ve never been in the restaurant prior and traveled an hour to visit. The other lady behind the counter finally assisted me.

Food is good but got burnt plantain. They're always cheap with plantains. 1 piece over fried. ☹️?

The store was clean and the food was delicious. Also, the prices are reasonable. I recommend this Carribean restaurant to everyone who love island cuisine. I will be back. Thanks for a lovely experience.

Every time I visit this location, it’s always a wonderful experience. Shoutout to the tall young man who’s always there. Can’t remember his name, but his personality is everything and I don’t mind spending and recommending when the service is great!

Stopped by to grab a bite while traveling and glad I did!! Food was flavorful, service was great, and place was clean. I'd definitely be back if or when I'm in the area. If I stayed near by, thus place would see me on a regular.

THIS REVIEW IS BASED SOLEY ON THE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I called in 7:45pm, 15 minutes before closing yesterday and inquired if I can pay for some food over the phone, the girl who answered stated, no they don’t do that. I then asked if it’s possible to put an order of Oxtail aside because I’m 10 minutes away, she said, they don’t hold food…. I’m asking for you to put an order aside for 10 minutes and your unable to do so without even attempting to ask the manger if it would be possible due to closing.It wasn’t 4pm rush hour to where that would be difficult to do. It’s closing in 15 minutes, Then I explained to her I’ll be there by 7:55pm, and wanted to know if any oxtail would be left , she said if you want to try to come you can. This young lady not only did she not care, but the business she is representing demonstrates a poor attitude, it was easier for her to tell me she can’t do anything as opposed to just inquire if it would be possible. If I wasn’t picking up food for someone I would of never had went. It was a complete turn off to tell someone they can come,try and see if there’s anything available then to ask or put it aside. Once I got there it was a small order of oxtail left, barely any meat. I purchased it. I inquired about the leftover food with another coworker, he stated, if there is any left overs the staff is able to take it home. So for 10 minutes if I didn’t make it, the food would not have gone to waste or stored for the next day, the staff would of been able to take it home. Her attitude was a turn off. This location lost a customer. And to the owner of this location train your employees on customer service. People come for the food but they stay based on how their treated.

I decided to purchase a whole turkey from Golden Krust for Thanksgiving. This was the best decision I could have made. My family and I all agreed this was the best we have had. The service from the staff was great, the price was reasonable, and thr turkey was ready for pickup at the agreed upon time. Awesome food, professional staff. Thank you.Jeremy Rogers

I ordered the stew chicken with rice and peas and vegetables and sides of macaroni and cheese and vegetables. I purchased through doordash. The order was picked up shortly after I placed my order in the app. The food arrive within 20 minutes but it was lukewarm. The macaroni and cheese was dry and over cooked. The stew chicken was tough, as were the vegetables. I’ve ordered from them before and even then it was mediocre so I know it has nothing to do with the app. Seeing as how it’s thanksgiving tomorrow, I wanted something quick but not fast food and I’m regretting my decision. This was absolutely not worth the price. I won’t be ordering from there again.
