Huge Disappointment!!

Mushroom Soup - tasteless, lacked an umami flavor. Salad was watery and tasteless.
Partner's sushi was good.
I ordered a Bento box with tempura chicken. My chicken was dry, dark meat with gristle. Uneatable. My California rolls were dry and falling apart, clearly made a long time ago. Dumplings - good. Rice - okay. Vegetables - okay.
Basically, paid for a meal I fed to the animals in the woods afterwards. Definitely and one and done for us.

Today I went to the restaurant for a solo lunch while my husband was out of town.
Frank knows my husband and I we have visited his food truck at breweries and have been very supportive. Please know that Frank was not involved in this situation
I walked in and I was Greeted by a young lady who was the waitress Frank was outside. He said hello when I walked in. I don’t know if he didn’t recognized me because I didn’t have my husband with me, but like I said again, Frank is not the reason for this review
I ordered the shrimp tempura appetizer, which was very good , shortly after I ordered -from the young lady steak hibachi. in between that time and older gentleman came out. He spoke to a couple of other customers that were in the restaurant. He looks over at me. He did not speak at first, but then came back later and asked me if I was enjoying the food. I only had the appetizer at this time. I said yes the food is very good and I thanked him.
shortly thereafter the steak hibachi I ordered came out, but it was completely wrapped up to go the older gentleman that works there I don’t know if he is related to Frank came out and stared at me while she handed me to my order along with the Bill. I didn’t order the food to go, but it was very apparent that I was being asked to leave. I even made the comment to the waitress am I being kicked out to where she didn’t answer, but giggled the whole time The older gentleman that works there is standing on the other side of us, staring at me like I didn’t belong there or he was worried that I wasn’t going to pay my bill
a day that I wanted to be so nice and relaxing and I wanted a great lunch from someone I knew that provided great food turned out to be so uncomfortable and clearly I was unwanted. My feelings were extremely hurt today by the treatment I experienced at the restaurant . I have absolutely no intentions on returning anytime soon. If I see Frank out in his food truck, I will definitely support him, but whoever that man was at that restaurant made it very clear that he did not like that I was there, and he did not like that I was ordering food because he thought I was not able to pay for it and that was displayed by the way he stared at me throughout my visit. 40 bucks for lunch and by the time I got to eat what I really went for it was cold cause I got kicked out

I'll be honest, I prejudged this place when I walked in thinking it wouldn't be that good, but I was pleasantly surprised. The music selection could use a little more variety, but the food tasted great.

I went to JaPaneck for the first time yesterday and boy was I disappointed. One of the items I ordered was the sushi special; 4 pieces of sushi and a roll. The waitress just couldn't process what I was asking her. It gave the option of 2 rolls and I simply wanted the spicy tuna. Nope, she came to the table multiple times and I ended up just asking her to cancel that order since she didn't understand me and i would get a spicy tuna roll only. She canceled one of the other items I ordered. Long story short, the food was pretty good but I wont go back because the wait for the food was pretty long and we didn't get what we ordered and my family left still hungry. Disappointed.

What a great place! We took the family out to dinner and they had a great time! Our girls loved the strawberry soda and food. The oldest is a very picky eater, but she couldn't stop eating the stir fry noodles! Our sushi rolls and chicken bento box were delicious. The staff was friendly, service was great - we will definitely be back! Thank you for a great meal!

Really enjoyed our food here. Bento Box, Fried Rice, Lumpia were all hits at the table. Staff was attentive and super helpful. Will be back for sure.
