I needed a few things I forgot a few days prior, so I was interested in checking out a different store from Publix. Kroger owns my hometown grocery store, so I thought it would be interesting to see similarities/differences. (BTW your loyalty card from a Publix subsidiary doesn't work here, at least in my experience re: Mariano's)I know how absurd it must sound to say that the "vibes were off here." You'd wonder how to measure that objectively, which is fair. But all I can say is that it felt dingy, dirty, and sad. It didn't feel clean, bright, and open at all. The prepared food didn't look very good, and there was not much of a variety, especially for sandwiches. The produce was OK - I got some raspberries that were quite inconsistent. They might not know how to stagger or assign roles well, because there was a huge snaking line of people waiting at the checkout lane, and they finally opened up a second one well into that process. The one positive thing here is that everyone I encountered staff-wise was friendly and polite. The checkout employee was nice, and she pointed out that another employee she was talking to is her daughter! That was very cute :)

In reference to your colleagues at 1751 Newnan Crossing Blvd East (you need to know about this as well):I just experienced a hate crime by two teenagers, who if you rolled the cameras, one was referencing me as a f****** while the girlfriend was shooting me the bird. This occurred less than 30 seconds as I approached the express line. I asked, if they were in line, and apparently that was enough for them to take on a disposition toward me, someone who has facial piercings, someone who is a member of the LGBTQIA community, of which they openly oriented toward me in a manner that was indicative of a hate crime. Even worse, Laurie Gerard the night shift manager joined in, which if you roll the camera she oriented toward me, without deescalating the matter or even acknowledging what happened. Her response, get out of "my" store. I am calling the cops. Which is a form of irrational disengagement, where there isn't to be a meeting of the mind, of the actual event that occurred, or even an assessment of the evidence, including rolling the camera to observe this teenager shooting me the bird, when I simply wanted to know if they were in line. Laurie Gerard's behavior simply joined in and upheld the racial disposition, of which one of her cashiers, a young man, seemed to think all of it was funny, when hatred towards minorities is never okay, which their anger towards me, wasn't over a matter of disagreement, but rather what I was in their eyes, of which they expressed this almost immediately, and again, Laurie Gerard, responded with yelling at me, asserting get out of "my" store. I'm not letting this one go. If there is no apology, I am pressing legal charges. Hatred towards minorities is unacceptable in any shape, fashion, or form, and someone might want to inform Laurie, that Kroger is not her store, but rather our community grocery store, of which I am simply amazed at how she was at liberty to talk to me in the way that she did, nor did she even properly deescalate, or even make an effort to deescalate and assess the facts. Please review the camera footage. The event occurred today at approximately 10:20 pm, of which you can observe this customer flicking me off, very quickly, in a duration that wouldn't line up with mere disagreement, as well as a manager, who I made mention of the nature of this event, a hate crime, of which she disengaged and yelled at me. This is racism. Please note I have contacted corporate and I will be engaging legal counsel, if this is disregarded. Hatred toward minorities as well as procedures that would work in support of that hatred, like Laurie's actions, which when the cameras are reviewed you will see the bird, and then Laurie being very disrespectful to me afterwards, when I told her to review the cameras. This is not okay, and Kroger, including the facility manager are accountable. And understand legal counsel is to ensure that we have this locations discriminatory behavior on file, so the next time this happens, which considering Laurie references the store as "my" store, it will, we can take note of what value system this team of management is upholding, regardless of what Kroger as a company intends. What Laurie did was wrong. The camera needs to be reviewed. The racist event, including members of the Kroger team, needs to be acknowledged.

Why is the Kroger Pharmacy at Newnan Crossing Blvd closed an HOUR EARLY?? Did they forget about the time change?? I spoke with numerous employees and no one knows! You can't ask Custoner Service because they're closed too! A very poor performance on Kroger's part. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that couldn't pick up their prescription!! The fact that I coukdn't get it on time is causing me to feel terrible physically. I think I'm going to Pulblix from now on. Stay away from here if tyou need your prescriptions on a regular basis. Bad news @kroger #bad Kroger # time change #Idontfeellikeworking #timechangewhat

I've been shopping at this location and having my prescriptions filled on their pharmacy since 2006 but ove the last year to two years, they have dramatically declined. I had to wait in excess of three days for prescriptions to be filled and when I called the pharmacy, nobody answered. To make matters worse, I called the front desk and was told that the reason they are so short staffed is because "nobody wants to work". I'm not a schmuck. I pulled all of my meds from their pharmacy to a reliable one. CVS on RT. 29. Kroger had become a joke and I could go into even more detail about how bad this location operates from what I've personally witnessed. Stay far away. Go to Publix

This review is for the Pharmacy of this Kroger. This used to be a GREAT pharmacy about 5-7 years ago. There used to be an older gentleman with short gray hair and glasses who was AWESOME. Now...this pharmacy absolutely sucks. They actually have more employees now than they had historically, but they're slower than anything I've ever seen and their customer service for the most part is sub-par at best. I actually switched pharmacies to CVS just based on logistics, but switched back because on Kroger having better pricing. During this transition, someone screwed up my Rx. I questioned the lady at the Kroger pharmacy about it and she said that the Dr had changed this and that I'd have to call them to make the correction. I called my Dr (because I knew Kroger was full of junk) and they did no such thing. So instead of Kroger realizing at some point in the transfer of my Rx it got messed up and looking at my previous records...they just lied about it and blamed someone else. Today - I attempted to pickup my daughters Rx that was called in last night for a pretty bad ear infection. I go through the drive through at about 1:00pm for pick up and I'm told, "oh, they're still working on it if you'll give us 10 minutes". No...you haven't started on it is what you mean...just say it. But, I'm sitting in the drive thru, and I obviously can't sit there. So, that means I'll have to get out of line...wait...then get back in line probably for a total of close to 30 minutes. I'd be more sympathetic with the time frame if other pharmacies in the area didn't perform faster riendlier or if Kroger didn't have the staffing they do. This place moves at a snail's pace and they don't seem to really care much about customer service. Find another Pharmacy...I am.

The staff were very kind, helpful and friendly. I received my first Covid shot from Tim and he a credit to his profession! I had to pick up a few groceries too.

The prices just keep creeping up. A package of frozen meatballs that sold last year about 6 months ago sold for 5.99 now is now 9.99. there are many more examples. Using the pandemic to justify spiking prices for food is really bad. I writing this because of their ad showing cartoon characters singing the prices as low, low, low . No not so much.

Christina, the Pharmacist, is unbelievable: knowledgeable, caring, goes out of her way to help. She is amazing!
