Senkaku is hands down one of the best Japanese restaurants in Newnan. The sushi is incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor the Senkaku Special Roll is a must-try. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, perfect for a date night or a quiet dinner. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, and everything was spot-on. This place has become a new favorite highly recommended!
I ordered the hibachi teriyaki chicken plate. The clamshell was eilled in the back with fried rice, and the front was piled with chicken and veg. The chicken was fine, dark meat. However it was overpowered by the thick sauce coating every inch of every piece of chicken and veg. The sauce itself was incredibly salty. After a few bites of the meat and veg, I noticed that halfway down it turned to even more rice. The $16 container was 75% fried rice.

We ordered the lo mein chicken and steak and the fried rice. Lo mein noodles were over cooked severely. Mushy and the steak was really tough. The fried rice was decent but none of it was worth how much it costs IMO. The rest of the menu might be good but I’m not sure we’ll try it out again.
