The barbecue was good. The service not so much, maybe it was the day and the time I was there. But I wouldn't be in no hurry. ?. But the atmosphere was good and that's good cuz I had someone to chill with while I was waiting on my food
The service was great; exactly what you'd want from a locally owned, small-town restaurant. Sweet, attentive, and genuine.
The food, though, didn't match the quality of the service. I had the "Lewis Grizzard Platter", which has a barbeque sandwich, stew, and onion rings. The barbeque, which is, to be fair, an old-style barbeque, was okay. Decently flavorful but dry. The stew was good, though it tasted too much of ketchup. The onion rings...

Service was great and friendly, and food was delivered quickly. The BBQ was just so so. We got ribs and smoked turkey, and they are fine but just average. Both were lacking in flavor.
