It was Valentine's day but we were seated 35 minutes after our reservation time. Service was slow. Had to ask for silverware. Food good. Drinks generous.

Service was too slow. Not prepared for Valentine dinner. Breading on fried lobster was too salty, almost inedible. Did not complain since service was already slow. Did not want to risk waiting on food any longer. Cocktails also too a long time to arrive. Had reservations and arrived 5 minutes early. Still had slow service.

The Bays Newnan-The Cellar Newnan are two in the same restaurant. The Bays has a chic, fun, family friendly atmosphere that’s also popular for dates and parties, while The Cellar has a more upscale vibe. Both have delicious food: The Bays has classics like burgers, and fun appetizers. The Cellar has a sophisticated of steaks and such. I cannot make my mind up which I like better! I like that I can choose between two restaurants! My favorite though, is the staff. I’m usually uncomfortable in public if it’s noisy. The staff is so sweet and kind, I forget all about my challenges and relax! Folks! You’ve gotta go & go often!

I recently dined here and unfortunately, it didn't live up to the expectations based on the hype. When we arrived, the hostess was less than welcoming. She pointed to a couch for us to wait, but when we asked if we could grab a drink at the bar while we waited, we were completely ignored. After about 20 minutes, we were finally escorted to our table—well past our reservation time. The food, sadly, didn't justify the cost. While the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, it didn't make up for the lackluster meal. On top of that, I ordered a Bloody Mary which never arrived. Overall, the service and food quality were not up to par with the prices, and while the ambiance was nice, it wasn't enough to redeem the experience. I had high hopes, but I won't be returning. There are plenty of other spots in town that offer better service and value for the money.

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving meal at The Cellar. The meal and service were excellent. There was a great variety of sides with turkey and pot roast. Everyone enjoyed this outing and we were all impressed with how great the food tasted. Definitely recommend!

The service was exceptional! The apps were very good but the entrees were decent. Atmosphere was warm, quiet, and very welcoming.

My wife and I met another couple and had a wonderful meal. Chloe was our server and did an excellent job - attentive, but never obtrusive. I had ribeye which was good, the grits and greens were outstanding. My wife had salmon and it was excellent. It's been awhile since we've been to the Cellar, and not sure why. We'll be back soon.
