I don’t typically post reviews of places, but this place was fantastic. We have been looking for a decent barbecue place on the south side of Atlanta for years and we finally found a home. My daughter said the Brunswick stew was the bomb. Pulled pork was decadent. The brisket was very good it needed a little more seasoning, but their sauces are fantastic. This is my new favorite takeout dinner spot. Well done oink joint.

Passing thru town and local recommended this place, I ordered a reuben sandwich. I ask the guy at register if it was on rye bread and he didn't know, had to ask a waitress. After I left place, I had my taste set up for corned beef....nope it had pulled pork on texas toast, no rye bread and no sauerkraut...smh. I had to give my sandwich away. I will not be back at this place.

The food was amazing!!! I had the Briscuit plate with sliced Briscuit, baked beans, and potatoes salad. The portions were generous and everything was very good. I had the sweet BBQ sauce as well as the spicy. The two mixed together was a good combination. The potato salad had a spice I couldn't identify but was still very good. My wife had the half wrack of ribs, slaw and potato salad. She said the ribs may have been the best she had ever eaten. All of the staff we met were friendly and quick to answer questions. The place was very clean. We do not live anywhere near them but if we are ever in the area I will gladly eat there again.

Tried this local bbq restaurant in downtown Newnan. I had the brisket plate with stew and Mac & Cheese. My wife had the chopped pork plate with baked beans and stew. You order at the counter and they bring to your table. I found the brisket tender but dry, the sauce was good and helped a lot. The stew and Mac & cheese were just ok. The baked beans were good. Overall the food is decent and will have to try again to compare trips.

Always look forward to earing here when coming to Senoia fro m VA. Amazing BBQ and sides. Brisket was on point and the Mac & Cheese was delicious! The baked beans are also really good. 5🌟

The Oink Joint in Newnan was very good, ordered their “Pork Plate” with Brunswick stew and Potato salad. The pork with “sweet” bbq sauce, it was really tasty and their stew was off the chain! the Potato salad was just ok.
The atmosphere was very nice as well, tucked away just off of the square. This was our first visit here, have been to the Zebulon location already, it was good too!
We try to visit Newnan once/twice a month, we’ll definitely be returning here!

One of the best BBQ places in the area. They went out of the way to make sure my order was right. Friendly people
had been hearing great reviews about this place, but sadly it was not quite what we had hoped. the brisket was visibly dry, and the mac and cheese looked and tasted old and bland. the chicken was flavorful but fatty, and sauces were decent.

I frequent Oink Joint from either traveling to or from Alabama. The service is great,I feel at ease,it's a modern country feel to it. I love the food options,it's affordable,I really like their potato salad(it taste like it may have tarragon in it),I love that the greens are not sweet. It's quick,traditional southern style bbq.
