A celebratory dinner for our large group after a national high school event (our kids finished 1st in the nation!). We arrived as a large group, and the team handled it perfectly. With a reservation, our group was in a separate, large dining room with multiple Hibachi stations.

The showy display of the hibachi chef were perfect entertainment for the kids. With lots of laughing and happy cheer the kids enjoyed the restaurant. From sushi ? to noodles ?, and hibachi streak, chicken, and shrimp... Tokyo had all the things you would expect and desire.

I’m very disappointed with our recent experience at Tokyo Japanese Restaurant. My family and I dined there yesterday, and unfortunately, everyone who ordered the Hibachi Chicken (my 4 & 7 yr old included) became extremely sick afterward. They experienced severe stomach pain and vomiting, which lasted throughout the night and into the next day.

Given that everyone who ordered this dish had the same symptoms, my guess is that the chicken was undercooked or improperly handled. This is concerning, as proper cooking and food safety are essential for any restaurant. We typically enjoy Japanese cuisine and were looking forward to our meal, but this experience left us feeling frustrated and unwell.

I hope the restaurant takes this issue seriously to prevent other customers from having a similar experience. Until then, I can’t recommend the Hibachi Chicken, and I would be cautious when ordering here.

I went today with my wife and daughter for lunch. Overall great experience food was excellent. Unfortunately my server chased me outside the restaurant to ask if I tipped b/c on the receipt in the tip line I wrote "CASH". The 20% tip was given to the young man who brought me back the card I paid with. She made me feel like a I dined and ditched. If tips are mandatary add it to the bill and don't assume a tip was not left.

The owner of this restaurant is extremely rude. Came in for a Door-dash pick up and was extremely disgusting to me , when i first walked up to her and let her know who i’m here to pick up for , she doesn’t say a single word , okay fine move past that , maybe 6 minutes pass by and i ask her “Excuse me how long would the food be ?” can you believe this lady turns and says to me “ i don’t know ask him “ she’s pointing to the man that’s making the order , i really think she lost her mind in that moment but it’s okay just know i will never come here to eat and i’m going to tell everyone i met , this is the worst restaurant to eat at !!!!!!!!!

I have been dining at this restaurant for years. The food is delicious and the staff are always so friendly and helpful but the man in the blue suit with the ? and tambourine is why I will never visit this restaurant again. He is rude and disrespectful and I’ve spent years and years of money here. No more.

I ordered salmon tried to immediately return. Nobody came back to table. The waiter said he could get me something different but I would have to pay for both.
I went to register where the man that listens well NORMALL was at told him I'm on medicine for a knee problem saw the salmon and could not eat it.
You may ask What did he say.
WELL mam you should not have ordered it.
Last trip here!!!
More understanding would have gone a long way!

Our meal was to go, well over $100. The steak was sour and the chicken, while a large portion was very dry. On return, the manager was somewhat defensive, like we were begging for more food! They offer no apology said we should have brought the food back. (we threw it out) We didn’t want more food or refund, because we knew that would take a fight and it’s just not worth it. We only wanted to let them know before someone becomes violently sick. We were regular customers.

We have been going here for years and we absolutely love it! The staff is so attentive and we never go without. The portions are phenomenal for the price and so delicious!!
