THIS REVIEW WAS FOR THE HALAL RESTAURANT!ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING.DO ME A FAVOR AND NEVER DINE HERE.i live an hour and 30 minutes away from Al Madina. I always come and support my fellow Muslims brothers and sisters. I stopped by Al Madina and picked up iftar, i come home and i see mold in the food.I was upset and i called the restaurant, and they answered. I respectfully told them that I ordered food from you all and there was mold in my bread. The man who answered was absolutely rude saying it happens and he couldn't refund me and they give bread to every of their customers. I paid $30 for mold in my food?! The man didn't apologize and handed it to the man name Salaam. He spoke to me but he and the people with him were laughing as I was telling him there's mold in my food. I told him that I don’t appreciate the laughter and he should listen to what I have to say and he kept saying when you come back to order here, we will give you bread. He continued to laugh and this should just show to save your money and eat somewhere else but here.I will not be ordering food from them ever again.Absolutely disgusted at the behavior and the quality. Customer service is horrible. I’m very upset.I know how the food business work, and selling moldy food can cause you to be in big trouble.I will be doing what I can to get this situation handled.

Store is amazing and has a lot of varieties.1-star deduction for the kitchen. Specifically the Konafa. It has nothing to do with an actual Konafa. Not Palestinian as claimed, and has weird yellowish spices added that shouldn’t be there. Avoid unless they get someone who can actually do a proper Nabulsi Konafa. My taste reference is from Quidar Al-Nabulsi that’s well known in the Middle East.

In the holy month of Ramadan, the rate is the same, but you have reduced the weight and size of the bread because you are Muslim

My first review in a year when I am shooting for triple digits! Will see how it pans out. With a large part of our family in the Atlanta area, it's not inappropriate for the first one to be about one of their businesses. I stumbled upon Al Madina - ostensibly a halal variety store - after using the gym next door, aiming to get some sweets. I was not disappointed. They had turkish delights (and some Moroccan specialties too). The variety is eye-opening. When asked, the lady placidly minding the counter reassured me that they are all made with pistachios (seeing how my wife does not care for walnuts). It's more than just baklavas - a couple of the varieties had an interesting texture that conjures up mochis, and that's not a bad thing. All in all (upon tasting later), they are more artisanal than elegant, but definitely lovingly prepared. At about $15 a lb., they're most expensive than some fine chocolates. So, more a curiosity treat than an everyday buy. The store itself is quite clean and brightly lit, especially for an ethnic store. They have everything from prepared food to meats and produce (a bit of a sorry sight). But if you're after a goat's head - with the eye balls - this is the place to be!
Very good restaurant. Authentic arabic food and most importantly, people are generous and kind.

Love the fresh meats (especially the lamb chops). Great prices and awesome cuts. The fresh bakery with Baklava is quite delicious!
