Well, my coffee rating is based on prices that are too high. A tamale that two weeks ago cost five dollars now costs seven dollars and then a coffee that costs anywhere else two dollars costs almost five dollars there, as if they brought beans. for grain from Honduras, then I took my husband to impress him and he said that he didn't like that food at all. I think that the prices in the supermarkets are high but here this is totally an abuse. What a shame it is to want to impress a person from another country and comes out embarrassed

I ordered a supposedly Honduran beef soup and they didn't give me beef rib but rather it was the roast rib with the pieces of fat. I couldn't eat it, the truth is that the soup didn't have anything Honduran about it.

🚨🚨DO NOT EAT HERE!!🚨🚨
Their menu is outdated and they make the prices almost double what is on the menu. Service was terrible, we asked for water, they tried to bring water bottles, my husband told them we just wanted tap water. They reluctantly brought us glasses of water and then didn’t bring one for my mother in law and when she asked where her water was the waitress acted indignant that she wanted a water as well. My husband asked for a wedge of lime for his water and was told they would charge him extra for that. My in-laws both ordered a small soup which said it came with rice and tortillas. It came with ONE tortilla, and when they asked for more they were told that would be an up charge. They got a total of four tortillas. They were told two was considered an order so they’d be charged for 2 orders. According to the menu an order of corn tortillas is $2.25, they were charged $3.99. Over $1 per tortilla was already exorbitant, but $2 per tortilla?? Where’s the gold? Their small soups were listed at $14.35 on the menu, but on our check it was $15.99. My husband got the fried crab and they charged him for the side of tortillas that they’d assured him it came with, that was the ONLY item that they conceded was their mistake on the check. I ordered a bean pupusa because they didn’t list it as bean and cheese. I’m aware that typically pupusas have cheese but it’s always listed on the menu, so I was excited to see an option without cheese because I’m lactose intolerant so I normally only get to enjoy pupusas when I make them or if I make a special request at a restaurant. The pupusa came with cheese. We asked if they could remake it without. We were told she’d ask but if they did it would be an additional charge. Historically at restaurants that serve pupusas I’ve either been told no problem at all and get a plain bean pupusa, or I’m told they buy their pupusas pre-made and frozen so unfortunately they cannot accommodate. Either of those reactions would have been fine. Instead our waitress came back saying that it’s not possible to make a pupusa without cheese which was not only false but needlessly rude, she also added as she tried to remove the cheese pupusa from the table that we’d be paying for the pupusa anyway, so my husband and his parents split it. I also ordered a baleada with the cream and cheese on the side because as mentioned I can’t have dairy but I know my husband and his parents will enjoy the cream and cheese in my stead. I asked her to add avocado to my baleada (there were baleadas with avocado listed on the menu) and then I asked for a side order of sweet plantains. She asked if I wanted cream and cheese with the plantains and I said it was fine on the side. What she failed to mention was that on the menu they have two different size orders of plantains, one is a side order which doesn’t come with cream and cheese, and the other is supposed to be a full order and comes with the cream and cheese. When they brought it out I was impressed with the size but didn’t know it was different from what I ordered. I’d only seen the side listed at $3.25, the large order was $9. They didn’t put my avocado in my baleada, they brought me half an avocado on the side and charged me $4 whereas the menu said a side of avocado was $1.99. When confronted about the plantain issue they told me we had to pay full price because we ate them, and they would not admit to any culpability despite the fact that everyone at our table was clear from the way I ordered I wanted it as a side. Apparently for that to be clear I couldn’t complete the order in Spanish I had to say the word side in English. They also claimed that wasn’t a side order of avocado it was a full order (not listed anywhere on the menu) because I got a whole half an avocado… They kept claiming prices had gone up, and the correct prices were in the back where the customers couldn’t see them. I’ve been to many Honduran restaurants and always had an excellent experience. This was horrible we all left with a stomach ache.
