Best African cuisine in Atlanta! The music and ambiance is top notch. They sometimes have live music and sound system is on par with the best music halls, crystal clear.
I can't wait until they start having AfroBeats night and Amapiano nights.

10/10 for EVERYTHING. I found this restaurant on DoorDash and wanted a specific order. I called the restaurant and I was met with EXTREME kindness and grace. She helped me place my order efficiently and even left me a personal note on how to order next time if I have any issues. My soup was AMAZING and I plan to go and patronize this establishment in person. Can’t wait to explore their menu for more options. The hospitality was UNMATCHED.

I’ve visited this restaurant multiple times, and while the food has always been hit or miss, lately, it’s been more of a miss. The owner is quite rude, which creates an unwelcoming atmosphere, but the heavy-set lady with the Afro was polite. The real highlight of my visit, however, was the new bartender, Fox.

Fox is a standout—her skills and work ethic far exceed the environment she’s in. I watched as she single-handedly managed the bar, served tables, handled to-go orders, ran food, acted as a host, and even cleaned the entire restaurant, including the bathrooms—all with grace. Despite her dedication, I witnessed the owner speaking to her in an unprofessional and nasty tone while she was juggling multiple responsibilities. Frankly, she deserves a raise, and I’m surprised they’ve managed to keep her.

As for the food, I ordered the Ajtono, which was dry and lacked flavor, and the Egusi, which tasted spoiled. When Fox brought it back to address the issue, I overheard the manager dismissing her concerns, saying, ā€œThey have to wait,ā€ rather than fixing the problem. Meanwhile, the person in charge seemed more focused on socializing with what appeared to be friends rather than actually running the restaurant.

This place is clearly understaffed. On my last two visits, I walked in, didn’t see Fox behind the bar, and left because I had no interest in dealing with the rude environment. If things don’t change, I’d be surprised if this restaurant lasts another three months.

Extremely rude server. She was so nasty and hateful that we just paid for our appetizers and left without ordering entrees.
