Just had a double lamb burger from their food truck at a Dunwoody city event and it was by far one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Spicy, savory, juicy, incredible. Staff was extremely friendly and I can’t wait for them to hopefully get a brick and mortar location!

First, the 2 employees in the Island Chef Truck were very rude to my employees. Yes, I was rude back at them. I prepaid well over $1000 for breakfast for 45 people. After 20 ppl were served, they ran out of biscuits. The main item on our chosen menu was biscuits and gravy. I just learned that they also ran out of bacon, Additionally, the people who did get to eat said the food was terrible. Biscuits rubbery and everything tasted soapy. Please do not waste your money.

Island Chef Cafe came to our subdivision and my sister and I were very excited to try their food. We pre- ordered as requested. I ordered a double order of the conch fritters and my sister ordered grouper fingers and rib tips. My order was supposed to be ready at 5:05 PM. At 6 o’clock I asked if my order was ready and I was rudely informed that I would get an email when the order was ready. I finally got an email at 7:15 saying that the food was ready. When I got to the truck, I was asked to wait five more minutes as my conch fritters were not ready. I was also told that they had run out of grouper fingers ( which my sister pre- paid for). I ended up waiting 25 more minutes for our food. When I got home, I realized that we did not get the amount of fritters we ordered and paid for. I also tasted the fritters and realized that there was no conch to be found. I was very disappointed because I waited over two hours and was very hopeful that the food would be worth the wait. I returned to the truck and voiced my concerns to the staff. The staff alerted the chef who was very rude and accused us of eating the fritters when I was telling him that we did not get a full order. He got very offended when I told him that there was no conch in the fritters. He gave me major attitude but agreed to give me a refund. He even said “Today is your lucky day”, as if my plan all along was to get free food! I tossed it in the trash when I got back home because he would not take it from me. Will never order from this truck again.

My experience with this Food Truck left much to be desired!!! I am always willing to give small businesses a chance, but this one left me thinking. First of all, prior to them coming out to our subdivision, they were adamant that they receive at least 30 pre-orders or else they would not be coming. Afterwards, we were informed that all orders have to be pre orders, because they do not want anyone crowding the truck. Fine! Next, they said we can now order day of, but must be placed online. I placed my order the day before for 6:45pm pickup the following day. The day of: at 7:30pm, I received a text saying that an item was unavailable. How can an item be unavailable, if you were so adamant to receive pre-orders.??!! Okay ...things happen!!! I opted to still take the rest of my order! Once received, I went home and not only was I short on my order of conch fritters but I didn’t taste any conch , just flour ! I decided to return to the truck to discuss my concerns with them! Their customer service or lack there of was sub par to say the least!!! The so called “Chef” was very rude when we brought our concerns to his attention. He was also very arrogant and displayed no sort of care for our displeasure. Sir: Please note that having good customer service goes a long way! It can take you place where you never dreamed you would reach! We can choose to spend our hard earned money elsewhere ! We do not need to put up with you rudeness and lack of service/professionalism!! Take heed!

Saw the island chef cafe food truck in Gainesville at Tap it. Turned around and picked up conch fritters that were just like I had in Nassau. Got shrimp and grits, j*** ribs, a side of Mac and cheese and fried grouper plate. Food was all pretty good, fritters were best and the grouper but it was all tasty good. Nice folks working the truck, it’s not cheap but the food was worth it.

I've been waiting two years for you to be at a location near me so I could have the Chicken Parmesan again. It was amazing, but the Shrimp PO-boy was even better! My daughter loved the Nutella banana dessert, but I didn't get to try it. Highly recommend!

Great food! I'm Hungarian myself and the traditional Lángos is just like in Hungary. Great customer service and staff. Today's lunch brought back my childhood/young adulthood memories

My husband and I had the Shrimp Po Boy and it was so delicious! It was a great portion with plenty for us to share. There were a lot of shrimp, the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh and the kick was just right! We will definitely look for them next time to try the Chicken Parmesan!

Just tried Langos for the first time and they were soooooo good! The chicken parmesan was amazing. The price was fantastic for all of the food we got and the flavors were incredible. Hope you guys come to Smyrna and other food truck places more, because I will definitely be back!
