I placed a to go order of Chappathi - Veg kuruma through Doordash . I have bought this several times before and this time
Veg kuruma is completely spoiled and smelled so old.
People around me acknowledged the same after testing the smell.
I put this as a request to Chennai cafe as well to other restaurants.
If you can’t prepare fresh, please do not sell it.Customers trust you and buy it with their money. Please make sure you protect it through your fresh food.

This place is awful! They put something on their menu their staff doesn't even know how to make! They offered a replacement, and that was bad, no flavor what so ever.
My dinner was fantastic! The dosa was super hot/crispy with potato masala, and as a combo quite a bargain. (sambar with idli, vada and coconut chutney) The pistachio falooda was insanely delicious 😋
Chutney taken from fridge and cold. uthappam is very thin tasting like thin pizzza.
Don’t expect good dosas here..
It’s not sambhar for dosa it just yellow water with some ingredients
The Andhra Kara Masala Dosa needs to be made less spicy. There are so many different varieties of Podi for Dosa in Andhra Pradesh and Nalla Karam is my favorite, and it is not that spicy at all.
However what they give here for Andhra Kara Masala Dosa tastes like straight up Chili powder - this was too spicy and will not be tolerated by most customers. There are so many more tasty Andhra Podis that can be used for Dosa, that are also less spicy and thus enjoyable for the customer - these better options should be used.
I tried this place on last Sunday, this place had some great food. It was very filling and I shared it with my boyfriend. The owner gave me a wonderful recommendation to try out. The Paneer Bhurji Dosa was spicy with a lot of flavor. Trying the Falooda was so good, I had to buy my boyfriend his own. I’ll definitely come back for something new to try.
I enjoy the dosas, usually get the ghee dosa, but have tried the rava dosa as well. Wish I could make them this tasty at home. Although today my dosa was a little too crispy, but all in all it is delicious, and I look forward to getting it when I come to the global mall.
I wish they were as friendly here as they are at Chinese Dhaba, but the food is really good, so I'll be back.
Between the Chinese Dhaba and Chennai Cafe, we always leave the Global Mall with full happy bellies.

Please don't go here for South Indian Food.
Idly is very dry and hard. Not soft. Looks like they made idly using rice flour instead of idly batter.
The name is Chennai Cafe, but don't expect food with South Indian Taste here.

Tried Vada, everything tasteless. Not at all authentic Chennai nor South Indian cuisine.

We had dosa with sambhar with chutney, and parotta with kurma. Everything tasted bad. We are having stomach issues the next morning.

I am giving a 3 star because the food is not that great but the service was very good. The cashier was super sweet and nice. She helped me order based on my food restrictions. Both idli and vada were super dry and very difficult to eat. Dosa and Sambhar were good. They also have fresh fruits juice, I ordered the orange and pineapple mix and it was super delicious.
