Extremely rude and unprofessional service. The older man at the register was shockingly impolite — we had simply taken an extra plastic bag, and he started yelling across the food court about it. Completely unnecessary and disrespectful behavior. We were appalled by this kind of treatment. Definitely not someone who should be in customer service. Plus both the dosa's were cold and bland. get that man away from the register. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

If I could give them a zero rating I would. My dosa was cold. I went back and told them. Instead of good customer service, apologizing and warming it up, the owner started screaming at me. He told me that my dosa has been sitting there for 10 mins and he has been calling my number. Pretty much pointing a finger at me. I advised him that I did not hear him. I looked at my number on the screen and came as soon as I saw that number. They told me that they place the number on the board after screaming numbers. I told them to invest in a mic like other businesses do. It was global mela today, food court was packed and I genuinely did not hear them. I told the owner I am
Not talking to him, I am talking to the girl on the register. Then the girl started yelling at me. Food can only taste good if it’s served with love and affection no matter what the price. Please stay away from this business. I highly recommend amul and Chinese dhaba. They have more crowd for the right reasons :)

I recently ordered a Maysor masala dosa from your restaurant, but unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the quality. The dosa was cold and did not seem freshly made. This was not the standard I expected.

I also raised a complaint at the time, but I did not receive any response or resolution.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and look into the issue. I would appreciate it if you could ensure better quality and responsiveness in the future.

I placed a to go order of Chappathi - Veg kuruma through Doordash . I have bought this several times before and this time
Veg kuruma is completely spoiled and smelled so old.
People around me acknowledged the same after testing the smell.

I put this as a request to Chennai cafe as well to other restaurants.
If you can’t prepare fresh, please do not sell it.Customers trust you and buy it with their money. Please make sure you protect it through your fresh food.

This place is awful! They put something on their menu their staff doesn't even know how to make! They offered a replacement, and that was bad, no flavor what so ever.

My dinner was fantastic! The dosa was super hot/crispy with potato masala, and as a combo quite a bargain. (sambar with idli, vada and coconut chutney) The pistachio falooda was insanely delicious 😋

The Andhra Kara Masala Dosa needs to be made less spicy. There are so many different varieties of Podi for Dosa in Andhra Pradesh and Nalla Karam is my favorite, and it is not that spicy at all.

However what they give here for Andhra Kara Masala Dosa tastes like straight up Chili powder - this was too spicy and will not be tolerated by most customers. There are so many more tasty Andhra Podis that can be used for Dosa, that are also less spicy and thus enjoyable for the customer - these better options should be used.

I tried this place on last Sunday, this place had some great food. It was very filling and I shared it with my boyfriend. The owner gave me a wonderful recommendation to try out. The Paneer Bhurji Dosa was spicy with a lot of flavor. Trying the Falooda was so good, I had to buy my boyfriend his own. I’ll definitely come back for something new to try.

I enjoy the dosas, usually get the ghee dosa, but have tried the rava dosa as well. Wish I could make them this tasty at home. Although today my dosa was a little too crispy, but all in all it is delicious, and I look forward to getting it when I come to the global mall.

I wish they were as friendly here as they are at Chinese Dhaba, but the food is really good, so I'll be back.

Between the Chinese Dhaba and Chennai Cafe, we always leave the Global Mall with full happy bellies.

Please don't go here for South Indian Food.

Idly is very dry and hard. Not soft. Looks like they made idly using rice flour instead of idly batter.

The name is Chennai Cafe, but don't expect food with South Indian Taste here.

Tried Vada, everything tasteless. Not at all authentic Chennai nor South Indian cuisine.
