Like stepping inside and being transported to a little "cafeteria" back in Miami. You gotta try the I prefer the beef pastelitos over the chicken myself.**UPDATE**I don't know if there has been management change, but there seems to be a lot of employee turnover. Having you said that, The food and coffee have lost their Cuban taste(and I know Cuban flavor because I lived in Miami for 30 years.)The frijoles are too watered down, and my "ropa vieja" was Too tomatoey. The initial "Sazón" of the food has not been the same for a while.** Please Bring Back Da Flava!!**

A small but cozy place. Sandwiches, empanadas, Spanish guava and cheese cakes, Cuban-style espresso and much more.Parking: It has a side parking lot that always has capacity.

My first time visiting and I ordered online. Long story short, I completely messed up my online order and when I went to pick up it, they so graciously offered to fix my mistake without issue. I told them it was ok because it was my fault but they insisted. Their customer service is beyond incredible! Not only that, but the food was ah-mazing!! I loved everything I got and even saved some to bring home for dinner because the portions were a great size. Thank you so much to the amazing staff there! I’ll definitely keep coming back!

I called to schedule a pickup order today at 7:01PM. I called directly rather than using the online third party order service to support D'Cuban's business, as we previously have dined in here and loved the restaurant. I ordered over $55 worth of food over the phone, which the lady gladly confirmed it all will be ready in 10 minutes at 7:10PM. When I came in at 7:25PM due to heavy traffic, my order was nowhere in sight. The lady claimed their systems were down but also claimed that my food was already being made in the kitchen and not to worry. Then she proceeded to ask me what I ordered, which I gladly provided her the list. Then she informed me that they were out of shredded beef Ropa Vieja. What exactly was the kitchen cooking already for me if she asked me for the entire order again? Confused, I told her the shredded beef Ropa Vieja was our main entree meal and the main reason why we came in and that she confirmed our order over the phone. Rather than offer an apology, she kept pushing me to finalize my order as the kitchen was closing at 7:30PM. When I asked again what exactly was being made in the kitchen, she deflected and told me to order immediately something else as the kitchen was closing at 7:30PM. Baffled at the lack of accountability and lack of apology, I left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. Look, I think it is okay to make mistakes, but if you lie/deflect/lack apology to your customers I am never coming back. I wonder if your employee had a long bad day.

Pretty decent Cuban sandwich. I wish it was more flat but not bad.

The food is sometimes a hit or miss, but my main issue with this establishment is with their quality of service. I used to order from here regularly (once a week), but stopped after a rude worker (old Colombian woman) tried to shame me for asking for 1 extra green sauce. Saying I had to pay for it even though if I ate there instead of doing takeout, I could literally have consumed way more bc they have massive bottles of it all over the restaurant. I've also ordered on their app and had to wait for my food because it was rarely ready when it was supposed to be, one time I waited 30 minutes on top of the 30 minutes they stated that they would need to prepare the food. And today, I paid for an add on, and the add on was Not on my plate. I called the restaurant to ask for a refund only to be told by the manager that I had to contact the app and ask them to refund me... if anyone has ever dealt with a similar situation you know what a massive waste of time it is going to a 3rd party app to ask for a refund. It's no surprise why there was not a single customer at this restaurant when I went to pickup my order today. It used to be packed, but honestly with this experience it's not difficult to understand why they are losing clientele.

Last weekend we ordered delivery because we were being lazy and didn't want to get in the cold. Looking for something new, we ran across D'Cuban Cafe in our "Want to Try" bookmarks. The dishes we ordered were packaged well for delivery and it all was hot and fresh. Often fried foods end up a bit soggy when ordered via delivery, but these were not. My favorite was the fried plantains with rice, beans, and ropa vieja beef. The garlic cilantro sauce was so good, we'll definitely order extra next time!! To get a sampling of the "sides" we opted for the Cuban Sampler. It came with an empanada (we didn't get to choose the filling and were hoping for chicken but got beef/picadillo), fried yuca, papa rellena (a bit bland), ham croquette (hubby liked this, I wasn't a fan), and sweet plantains. We also ordered a guava pastelito to share (delicious but kind of skimpy on the filling). Last but not least we shared a cuban sandwich...you can't try a 'new to you' cuban restaurant without checking out the Cuban. It was much larger than we were expecting (nice!) and had good flavor. We thought it would probably be much better if we were eating it fresh from the restaurant instead of a bit smooshed from delivery.

The food was great and authentic, they use real ham and real cheese, the pastry is fresh. The sauces are a little watered down for my taste but most of the food doesn’t need sauce. The best part is that it doesn’t remind me of Miami, it’s how I picture a cafe in Havana, Cuba in the 50s. Will bring my Cuban family back here!
