Highly Priced for Average food
It was my first time ordering here because it was close to my job. I ordered the large Egusi because the normal size was very little. They charged me $60 and the Fufu is not included. They charge an extra five dollars (Fufu) plus tax so my total was $68 for one meal. I do not recommend at all! The egusi soup I had way too much oil and tasted more like peanut butter stew. I’ve definitely had better elsewhere at a much more reasonable price. They will never be seeing me again!

It's a Nigeria kitchen. I had their amala special: a plate of amala, abula soup (a mixture of ewedu, gbegiri, and stew), they made it so that you can choose your protein, so I chose mackerel fish, all served by the pretty chubby lady on duty. I like the fact that you can scan their menu using a barcode on glass right at the beginning of their canter structure. That's how I knew about amala special. I would have just had something else. We also got their peanut, it taste very good.
I gave them 4 stars for service for a subjective minor 'error'. I requested a bottle of water, but I took my food to the table because my friend was being attended to, thinking the lady helping with drinks would bring my water. I waited a bit and had to go back to ask for the water before I started eating. While I understand it might be a culture that customers pick up every item at the canter, I would have appreciated it if I was notified to wait for my bottle of water. I'm not particularly holding this against them. It's probably an oversight. I also had difficulty finding their washbasin/sink for washing hand. So, I'll suggest you ask if it's your first time. It's located around the canter where you'll place your order.
Trust me, I enjoyed their food, and everyone was amazing. I'll go back again and again.

5-22-2025. Big mistake my wife got off TikTok big mistake, the food is not freshly made in the morning it's saved overnight heated and served to the public paid $66.for meal my wife ate half her meal she's pregnant and couldn't finish it
, I had dry turkey wing tough skin dry hard meat fried rice beans and a drink I would never try again. If your starving be my Guess, if not go Elsewhere, unless your that type of person that give people passes all the time and you're pay for it later, eating old food. TikTok fooled my wife, pictures are deceiving.

I don’t know if it’s because we ordered close towards closing time or what but the Egusi was burnt, to the point we couldn’t even eat it

This review is based on my husband: he stated that the prices don’t match the portions, and that the food lacked seasoning. The service was ok but they seemed to get frustrated when you asked questions regarding the menu.

Excellent food & service!! My favorite: egusi soup with fufu. If you drive by this place you must visit!! The owner is nice and so is her staff.
I opted to dine in and I had a great time. They have plenty of of seating, booths and tables. The atmosphere is pretty quiet but enjoyable.
Parking is also plentiful.

This isn’t it $60 jollof didn’t taste like jollof at all not even Nigerian jollof it had a weird spice in it that did not belong . Suya no spice , onions not fresh very soggy and tastes like the fridge and the suya is extremely tuff and this is coming from an Ivorian mouth who eats damn near everything and 5 pieces of goat meat was $27 that was extremely tuff and it didn’t taste like anything . This can’t be African cuisine place or someone originated . Maybe the chef never even been or lived home. Highly disappointed and the homemade juice that $6 is nasty .

If you’re looking for absurdly overpriced plates with minuscule portions, this is your spot. The concept of value is non-existent here, and I can’t stress enough how ridiculous the pricing is. Take, for instance, the goat meat—a small portion with barely any meat, just bones, priced at a mind-blowing $5 per piece. I could practically buy a whole goat at a farmers market for $120 and serve up 200-300 decent portions. Now do the math on the profit margin they’re already making.
Yes, businesses need to turn a profit, but this place takes it to an extreme, bordering on outright gouging. The greed is almost offensive. To top it off, the space itself is less than ideal: cramped, unclean, and lacking in basic standards.
The food is below average, very underwhelming. It’s either undercooked, or lacks the real flavor.
Not only will I never return, but I’m also counting on the day when a worthy competitor shows up and puts an end to this nonsense. Avoid at all costs.

The food here is terrible, that tastes old and it's overpriced! Customer service is rude here with no welcoming demeanor. I should've trusted the 1 star reviews from others. Avoid this place.
